Didn't Shepard end up with some crazy fangirl message by the time you were finished with the arena in the Citadel DLC? Would've been funny to see how that ended.

Yup.

I made this for you

From: Randi Nowan

Attached are some files from what I call Project Shepard. I did a screen capture of your match in the simulator and made a 3:1 ratio bust of your head in cheddar cheese. As my video journal shows in the time lapse section, it took a while, but it was worth it. I'm happy with everything except the chin, where you can see it sagged a little and I had to reinforce it with struts. Let me know what you think!

and

Our love is meant to be

From: Salora T'Ron

You stand floodlit in front of millions
And I in the dark
The screen separates us
But as your heart hammers mine
echoes it and we are one.
I embrace this brief human moment
As if it were eternity.

Your most devoted fan,
Salora

and possibly

I'm your #1 fan!

From: Anexi Kestratos

Shepard:

That last match just goes to show the difference between a killer like you and the soft-skinned children who are just playing games. Some humans are the spiritual descendants of indolent flower-eaters, but you? You're right up there with Patton and Attila and Vlad Tepes.

Speaking of, don't you think the arena should have some good map layouts from human history? I'd love to see a fight amongst all those impaling stakes. I've proposed it a few times, but the arena guys just say something about impressionable youth and then makes some really insulting cracks about turian fan mail. Shouldn't they be glad we care so much?

P.S. The bluish blot in the attached pic is just my way of signing off. You know, a thumbprint in DNA so you know it's me.

Nope, nothing creepy here at all! :D

A lot of folks are bored, and making silly threads until more game info comes out.

Except I think many of them are legitimately obsessed over romance content.  If I had a dime for every poster who stated they'd stop playing Bioware games if they removed the romances I'd have a nice little nest egg.

Well Mass effect and Dragon age datesim is main reason why I buy game second reason characters in general. Don't say someone really buy Bioware games for story and/or gameplay

Well, I hated almost all romances except for Morrigan and maybe Viconia. And yeah, i loved stories and lore in bioware games, but after dai i really started to worry about priorities for bioware.

Most of them, including this one, are troll threads designed to mock the romances. The frequency of romance discussion is is considerable, but often exaggerated thanks to threads like this.

I just want my PC to get laid during breaks from killing aliens and expanding humanity throughout the stars, is that too much to ask for?

Actually, I would not mind if the girl made the first move. I like it when the girl makes the first move.

If a girl does not know how to flirt, but is still trying to say something, I would probably like it regardless.

Too bad hardly any ever practice the super rare art known as making the first move as a female.   Is it bad the only thing I could think about when reading the OP was disappointment at the fact the person hitting on him was a male?  Figures.  Third wave feminists always complain about equality but never actually hold up their end of the deal.  Finding a woman who instigates the relationship is like coming across a Unicorn in a field of four leaf clovers.

I for one would not like this, as I happen to agree with TheBunz that this can be very awkward.

There was a girl who liked me but I am gay. She forced me to take her out on a date via guilt trips. Afterwards, she took me to her "secret spot" which was a cliff that overlooked the ocean. She was talking about how romantic it was and said I should kiss her. I said no. She then started pacing the edge of the cliff and threatened to throw herself off the cliff. Afraid she would push me over, I stayed away and encouraged her to come back. After a few minutes she came away from the edge and then punched me. Awkward!

Another girl asked to sleep in my bed. She tried to cuddle and then move my hands to her boobs. I pulled them away. "They are just boobs!" She said. Awkward!

The fortunate thing about this is that when a dame DOES make the first move, all you have to do is run "don't screw up" game and it's life on easy street until the notch.

I can tell this is true.  I've read a lot of true stories in my day.

Don't be such a pushover. Anyway, did they know you were refusing because you're gay? If not, then they were just trying harder. If so, then maybe they thought you could give them some physical fun with no risk of commitment. Women are weird.

I felt like Kaiden's romance in ME3 was a bit creepy and unwanted. It's like....hello... can't you see I'm with Garrus?

He turned a normal lunch on the Citadel presiduum into an awkward-fest.

I could do without another one of those.

[\laughs] No more or less than guys. I've had guys coming on to me knowing I'm a lesbian, exclusively, a pretty butchy one at that. Was I supposed to be some kind of trophy for the guy who managed to 'turn' a lesbian to men? Are they that desperate, or is there some kind of rejection kink I was not aware of amongst humans?

There was even one, once, who stopped me in the middle of the street and started rambling about how he loved dressing as a woman, showing me what was in his shopping bag, and telling me we'd be perfect together. He didn't look like like he was joking, or part of an elaborate show with hidden cameras. To this day I still don't know what to make of it.

I would love if we were able to marry our love interests.
