If you're just looking for anyone to play Gold with, feel free to add me (PSN: stephen_dedalus).  If you're looking for someone consistently good to play with, you might not want to play with me.  Depending on the circumstances, I can contribute reasonably well vs. Reapers and Geth.  Sometimes I'm tolerable vs. Cerberus.  I am always useless vs. Collectors. I do my best to assist with objectives and I'll always try to revive teammates unless doing so appears tantamount to suicide.  I never scorewhore.  I usually play as biotic characters.

When I hop on for occasional matches and quick search, I'm usually connected to a lobby within a couple minutes. For a 4 year old MP and 2nd lowest playerbase I'd say that's pretty good.

Well, you could look at the opposite way, and say, wow, you'd think that in 4 years somebody somewhere would have made a better co-op MP game than ME3, but they haven't, which explains why there are still a very large number of people playing regularly, and probably an even larger number of people who pop off and play SP games for a while, but then return to ME for their co-op fix.

 

I don't like searching for U/U/G on PS3 because of Collector freezes, and searching for specific factions can be problematic occasionally, but it's worth noting that if I drop it down to U/U/S I will almost certainly connect within a few seconds.

Maybe we can play this weekend? I play well enough so that you don't really need to sweat it if you run into trouble against Cerberus/Collectors. I usually play against an unknown enemy, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, I always love bashing the Reapers lol.

Tried to find a Gold game for ages last night but couldn't, so I had to drop it down to Silver to get one, (never had to do that before). Which turned out to be a horribly laggy Geth game in progress.

It doesn't have as large of a playerbase as is used to have. That's no surprise, I'll give you that.

 

But for a four year old game, on a last gen console to still have players... let alone the number this one does... is nothing short of miracle.

Ahem, yeah that aside ME3 has still been quite steady. Though an hour ago I sat in a lobby for nearly 5 minutes before deciding to get my EWGF on in Tekken Tag 2. It has its on and off days.

Anyone else have trouble with PSN today? I kept getting 'signed out'. Four games in a row had wave eight disconnects from PSN. I checked my speed and signal connection and it was no worse (or better) than usual.

 

So after a few,

 

 

 .. moments headbutting everything and everyone in sight I gave up trying and played some Omega SP DLC. (Haven't played SP for ages now).

This weekend sounds good to me.  Not sure if I'll be able to play on Saturday, but I should definitely be free on Sunday. U/U/G is okay with me, as long as you're confident you can pick up my Col / Cerb slack!  Looking forward to it.

Yes....PSN has been having alot of problems the last 3 days..I haven't been able to login to PSN at all. I just went back to doing an insanity SP run..you know what..doing it with just the scorpion is hilarious.....

 

As for some earlier posts.. I think it is amazing that this game is still as popular as it is......If you think about it...this was biowares 1st ever multiplayer game..and I think they knocked it out the park.   This is the 1st & only multiplayer game I had ever played....still play.  I had started to branch out after this game got me out of my single player campaign only, mindset..cuz that's all I would ever play as far as other games went.. I had a blast / I am still having one...there are brand new players flooding in all the time from what I notice on both xbox & PS3 and they are sticking around....and even people who stopped playing the game..still come here & talk about it...

Yes, I played some SP last night, and I noticed that it kept logging me out of PSN

I have been getting disconnected from Mass effect servers. This is not part of the game?

Yes, EA sometimes needs more power for the indoctornation signal, so something has to give. It's ok. You get used to it.

No it was from the PSN.  You do get the occasional disconnect of course, (just like as you do from X-box Live), but this was every game.

I'd play more on the PS3, but the controller makes my hands hurt these days. I used to not have a problem with that, but I just turned 26 and now I basically have one foot in the grave, this must be what old age is like
