They love their fans? You can say that with a straight face, here? In this forum aka The Cave Of The Lost, Forgotten and Forsaken? Hah.
BioWare loves paying customers and adoring worshippers. A fan who dares to say something like, "I liked your game but the ending was disappointing and not at all what you implied we'd get" is being shouted down, ridiculed and then ignored. BioWare has allergic reactions to critique.
But since they care about dazzling the naive with flashy trailers to create hype (and eventually revenue) for their (lately mediocre) games, we can probably expect a second trailer that mentions the story and/or perhaps tells us a little about our character. A few minutes of (alpha) gameplay footage will follow. Of course, this might show things again that won't actually be in the game because they ran into hardware limitations or time constraints.
I got news for you: ALL MEDIA COMPANIES DO THAT! They all exist to make money, period. Even the companies like every other person here new flavor of the day Project CD Red does it. The devs on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk don't give a damn about people who have problems and critiques with their games. It's the same with movies studios, TV networks, comic book companies, publishers, sports, and wrestling companies. As long as their product make them money that is all they care about. The fans raving, the awards, and critical acclaim is just added good PR/hype and even in those cases where the fans and critics hate it as long as the product makes money they don't care.
