I was half expecting that it would just be me talking to myself.
Strictly speaking, do you know that it isn't?

There is a thread currently going (for now) where someone is asking for heterosexual only romances for ME:A.
Bring vodka.
That Zeta Reticuli guy is the same one that tagged into the gaylien thread to continue arguing Midnight Bliss' point when he had logged off. There's something fishy with this guy. He's clearly a troll and he's clearly a ghostnic from someone on the boards, but I don't know who.
I just assumed that MEA thread was a troll thread after reading the op's post.
I feel if they were a conventional troll they would have opened with the 'submissive sex undermines a leader's authority' bit. As it is they seem to be on the back foot the whole thread. Also a five paragraph opening post is going above and beyond.
New posters diving in like that is fishy though.
I think next time I'm bored and want to give some sort of response to threads like that, I'm gonna start posting recipes.
Wasn't that the thing for the Females Everywhere! thread?

I think next time I'm bored and want to give some sort of response to threads like that, I'm gonna start posting recipes. I've been getting into cooking and baking. My husband has Celiac's with a "fun" skin disease on top of it, so we don't eat out at all. I've been getting the hang of making some kickass chocolate chip cookies. I should also share my potato hash recipe as well.
Oh cookies. Got some good recipes going? I like baking aswell, but mostly bread and pastries.
These "bring back the Inquisitor" threads are becoming almost as bad as the Warden ones. And I say that as someone who wants to see the Inquisitor in some capacity in DA4. Every thread goes the same way: posting some idea so the Inquisitor grows or has an arm, saying that Bioware did the arm thing to intentionally leave out the Inquisitor as a possibility, decrying that reasoning, saying that they would rather have left their Inquisitor in the Fade because they hate the bland and boring character, but the Inquisitor's story isn't over because Solas!
On and on and on...
Origins, aside from the lore, had to work with a lot of setbacks with the engine, which they had to switch after they hit a wall. Still, I think that doesn't count, because we really didn't wait 6 years. Even after it was announced, it was an unknown. There's a big difference, in my opinion, between waiting for a new game and waiting for a franchise continuation.
Not necessarily, at least from the fan perspective if you see an advertisement that really piques your interest and makes you super excited for a game you know next to nothing about.
That happened to me with with Scalebound.
OK yeah, that Zeta Reticuli person is a total flaming troll. I hope no one takes the bait.
On the other hand... I know there are actually people like that out in the world. I'd really like for them to run into our military guys who can now be open since the repeal of DADT -- there are your gay badasses, asshat.
*Siiiiigh*
^ At the very least, it's a good way to pick up on people to add to the ignore list. Silver lining and all that.

But still I feel it's a different thing. With a continuation you know what to expect, and if you really liked it, there's a "I can't wait any longer" anticipation. Maybe I got burned on the hype so many times that I can be excited about new games, but I tend to be more cautious about it.
I liked the game from the trailers, but then saw a "xbone exclusive" banner and my interest died. The only exclusive I couldn't get over was The Last of Us.

I'm not so sure about it. After reading some posts (I'm reading through his "no gay romance" thread, unsurprisingly now closed) I think it's 50/50 on whether he is a troll or if he's serious. The "I'm not a homophobe, I have gay friends" train of thought, plus the other stuff he has written seems like a lot of genuine stuff I have seen before. We'll see.

Ah well. I happen to be a console gamer (my laptop isn't meant for gaming) and I have an xbox one so personally I'm excited for xbox one exclusives as there aren't many out there.
That and the developers confirmed fully customizeable dragon companions. Give them wings if you want and ride around and fly, or take away the wing and give them a lot of armor and they can be a tank and you do damage with a bow, or whatever you like. The tradeoff is non-customizeable protagonist, Drew, whom we see in the Scalebound trailer.
If you can't tell by the username, I like dragons.
Microsoft is apparently going to be "100 percent committed to the PC-gaming space," for the future. Among other things, there will be fewer Xbox exclusive titles. I'm not surprised that they are moving in this direction, considering the Xbox/PC connectivity brought about by Windows 10. They are going to want a larger library of games that can be used on both, so that the console and OS can grow together. It's a really smart decision from a business standpoint, I think.
I don't know that stuff on it somehow affecting them despite not having to see it and just knowing it's there strikes me as trollish as for as this Zeta Reticuli poster is concerned. Though I'm basing this solely on my own experiences with people who do have a problem with any kind of gay content which they just don't want to see it but wouldn't care if it happened in someone else's lives (unless it affected them directly i.e. using slurs in response to someone they like loosing to someone who is LGBT in a contest or award type of deal) But that's just going off my very limited experience with a hand full of people I deal with on a semi regular basis.
As usual I apologize for my incoherentness.

My laptop isn't meant for gaming either, but oh well. It does seem cool, but even if I did buy a console, it would be PS4. Unless MS did a werewolf game (real ones, not like the diseased rats in The Order), then I would have no choice. You're not the only one with a love for mythical creatures ![]()

Well Quantum Break will be released for Win10, but I'll wait and see how that goes, Microsoft had multiple attempts at PC gaming with varying levels of success. I'm still salty about Fable 2 being an xbox exclusive.

But he thinks that it does affect him. Kaidan having even the possibility of romancing a male Shep, even if he doesn't do it, is making him uncomfortable. He apparently has a neat stereotype about how all gay men look and any deviation from it is unsettling for him. This is something I have seen happen, that's why I'm not sold on him being a troll. I knew some guys who were terrified when they discovered most gay men are not easy to spot.

After going through that thread, I don't know which one is worse. At least Zeta hasn't called you a bratty little child.

That's why I lean towards him being a troll because just the thought of it existing he somehow thinks affects him. Then again I'm basing this personally off a hand full of people I know who do get squicked out or defensive about most things LGBT two of them being down right a**holes and one who was raised with religious beliefs that teach that stuff. Though I am very much willing to bet that I'm probably in the wrong about it since I am only going off those hand full of people who all have in common that they don't care it exists until they see or it or hear about it.
Though like I said since I'm going off such a small example pool I'm probably wrong.
So he hasn't heard of "bears"? I mean, they have a name, fans of their own, and everything... And some of those dudes would look right at home riding along with the Hells Angels.
[edit for fun]
This adorable bear couple maintains JebBushForPresident.com (it's SFW). Trolling at its best. XD (Er... sorry if anyone here actually likes Jeb.)
