Ah bah now I just feel stupid probably missing something obvious but whenever I go to try and contact EA on the site they insist on making me go through something that has nothing to do with my problem like 'pick a product'. I hope I'm just missing 'contact someone over text chat' type of button.

^ That's kinda weird that you can't post there, since it's part of the general DA franchise, not a specific game. Biotic linked the BSN help subforum, so see if you can post there about your issue.

Thanks! I'll be sure to check it out. I thought maybe it's because my email for here is different than my EA one but I found myself unable to post in certain DAI sections as well so I'm not sure what the problem is exactly.

The TL:DR version of that KISA post: you want every combination of minority character in one game? That would be like 24 companions! Have you considered people don't want to see gay stuff?
Who cares about gay characters, I - a straight male - don't, I didn't even have an interesting female LI to take with me. Cast was too big, characters bad.
"How on earth does it matter if you sleep with girls, boys, both, none at all or animals if you are a dick?"
Don't mention sexuality at all, Dorian was destroyed for me after I noticed he's gay, make everyone bi (but hide it, because the bi characters in 2 were so bad), including Sera.
"write real characters. Don't decide their sexuality before writing their soul. Hell don't write their race and gender before deciding what kind of person this character should be and then leave the choice to the player"

Official recommendation: don't reply. Let it just fade away. I went though his other posts, and you really don't want to talk to that guy, trust me.

If you are referring to that uncensored Iron Bull pic that is floating around on Tumblr, that is not real. I wrote a whole post about it in the gay KISA thread after Gomez asked about it.

I don't my regret my association with making pervy inquiries about Iron Bull's junk. Viva la bits!

And finally did something on that link. Hoping I get it sorted out soon. Found someone from another game that might be considered a KISA and I'd love to share him as much as possible. Bisexual guys count in that thread too right? Or only homosexual ones?

Heck I might have two examples now that I think about it.

Until then I must play the waiting game.

I don't see why not, Sandal made the thread to be inclusive (both male and female characters were mentioned) and named it gay KISA instead of LGBT KISA to avoid attracting trolls. It's about a s/s romance.

Post away.

As soon as I'm able to I would love to. I'm not finished with his arc entirely yet but I've really liked what I've seen. Even if the guy needs way more scruff. Also have a lady that may count but she falls a little into Carth Syndrome territory.

Very sorry for thread clogging guess I'm more excited about this than I realized^^;

No need to be sorry, this has become more of a loose conversation/off topic thread anyway ;)

You're talking about Loren the Amazon Princess and the romance you mentioned in the badass thread, right?

I thought of this a while ago when Sandal mentioned that, but never asked for whatever reason. Why would using "LGBT" attract more trolls than "gay"? Is LGBT just seen as social justice warrior-y for some reason?

Yes that's the one! He's far more closer to a KISA when I thought about it, and the other one that may apply is from the same game as well. I may of become slightly addicted to it and with the cheat mode it allows you to have access to when you beat the game once it's pretty easy to breeze through the game just to check out the different branches and romances.  ^_^

That would be my guess.  Probably because it's normally used when trying to be inclusive and inclusive talk scurrs the anti-SJW crowd.  These are the same people who will say stuff like "Why did they change Kaidan to be gay?"  They're usually not interested in nuanced shades of grey.

Last time they went and listed all the characters they thought were being asked for

What magical part do you live in? That's pretty much how it is over where I am only toss in some bringing guns to school for hunting and it be totally okay to car jack if it's 'just a joke' and you're related to one of the bigger families. Oh and swap Mexicans for democrats.

Then again never been to any of those places so maybe it's just where I live, which hopefully is the case.

I won't say there's no problems, but as a godless leftist I've done decently well down here

it depends mostly on how many more letters you add after T

Holy crap, that's insane!

He (mentioned being a dude in the last post) is certainly not giving up on that "we can't have 30+ companions" argument.

One thing to note, if you go to the Northeast of the US, and generally the East Coast in general, is there are a ton of toll roads. I went to New York last summer and it costs $13 just to go through the Manhattan Tunnel to enter the city, there are tolls on all the highways and the costs really add up.

Where I'm from, Nebraska, there are no toll roads whatsoever so the money I brought along for souvenirs went to transportation alone.

You probably mean the Lincoln Tunnel and don't I know it.  I take either the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge to work every day.  $13/day.  It adds up:  somewhere about $3000/year.  And that's not counting gas.  A few times a month for work, I have to go from my apartment in NJ to Coney Island.  It's $10 in NJ turnpike tolls, $13 for the Goethal's Bridge, and $13 for the Verrazanno Bridge.  Over $35 for my commute that day.  It's definitely not a great part of living up here.

However, if you are taking public transportation, which most tourists do, the tolls are included in your bus/train ticket.  I can take public transportation and it would be much cheaper (only about $11/day), but it takes much longer.  It's 1 1/2 hours minimum/day if I take PT.  If I drive, it's closer to an hour.  So I'm paying a bit for the convenience.

This all constitutes as "venting" right?

@ Dave Oh, it counts hun. Part of this thread is venting about real life crap. Those tolls sound like a pain in the butt. :(

<skims thread the linked post>

Jebeezus, what is wrong with this guy? He reminds me of Breanvu, minus the obsession with "manly" female LIs. How much you want to bet that if it was a thread requesting a lady LI, he would be all about the suggestions?

Breanvu didn't give up for 8 months last year. When he wasn't complaining about Cassandra being too manly, that was his other schitck. "You guys want everything at once, stop asking for the minority." I'm just waiting for his crazy self to come back. Kefka and him can go nuts and we can sit back with the popcorn.

EA site and my own inabilities are keeping me from merging my accounts so I can post everywhere dang it. Starting to work on my nerves a bit.

And now I kind of figure out only to find out that I have to call them? They don't offer text chat for support really? As someone who barely gets a signal at home and only has a cell phone I am very displeased.

I'm pretty cool with this thread working as the general discussion thread, considering that venting is such a good jumping off place for conversation a lot of the time.

Speaking from experience, posting while on your phone is no fun. Storms, though, are awesome... well, not snowstorms. Or dust storms. Okay, good old garden variety thunder-and-lightning storms? Those are awesome. Unless it's been really dry and the lightning starts fires... You know, I'm just gonna shut up now.

Thunder and lighting storms are pretty awesome, extra nice if you get a cool heavy fog afterwards that seeps around like a horror movie fog  <3

Terrible for internet service though and requires our roads to be fixed but still ah something about watching them is the best.

Agreed. I love a good thunderstorm, except as noted above, heh.
