I think my favorite is watching one come our way from across the river even if it doesn't make it there. Then again I kind of like rain in general well warm rain anyway ![]()

Can't say I ever have, never seen a tornado either now that I think about it despite living in a 'tornado alley' for a while.
Sounds like it would be quite an exciting sight to behold.

Tornado hit my town a couple years ago, and that same year a town 15 miles south of me had two tornados that merged into a bigger one that leveled the entire town.
Was on the news.

You probably mean the Lincoln Tunnel and don't I know it. I take either the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge to work every day. $13/day. It adds up: somewhere about $3000/year. And that's not counting gas. A few times a month for work, I have to go from my apartment in NJ to Coney Island. It's $10 in NJ turnpike tolls, $13 for the Goethal's Bridge, and $13 for the Verrazanno Bridge. Over $35 for my commute that day. It's definitely not a great part of living up here.
However, if you are taking public transportation, which most tourists do, the tolls are included in your bus/train ticket. I can take public transportation and it would be much cheaper (only about $11/day), but it takes much longer. It's 1 1/2 hours minimum/day if I take PT. If I drive, it's closer to an hour. So I'm paying a bit for the convenience.
This all constitutes as "venting" right?
Thanks and yes.
I was on a road trip from here to there so public transportation wasn't really, hmm, trying to come up with the right word. I wanted to say "there" but that would say there was none and there certainly was.
There was one thing about New York City and Times Square that really surprised me. People walking around in costumes and taking pictures with tourists and then practically demanding tips. Had a guy dressed as Spiderman offer to take a picture and then kept harassing us to pay him a tip. It's probably polite, but not when you don't have enough cash for the drive home anymore and simply can't pay them and pay for other things there.
It was amusing this guy gave my brother a "free" cd of his band's music and asked for a tip to support him and his band. My brother pulled out his wallet and showed him he had no money so the guy took back the "free gift" he had given my brother.

Yeah, I totally recommend for anyone coming to NYC to visit Times Square because it really is a sight to see and everyone who visits should experience it. Then my advice is run as far away from that terrible place as possible and to never return. It's a nightmare.

When is this election going to be overrrrrrrrrrrr?! Can't I just hibernate and wake up on November 10?
Now that that's out of the way...
Holy crap, that's insane!
He (mentioned being a dude in the last post) is certainly not giving up on that "we can't have 30+ companions" argument.
I only read the first part of that absurd post. I find it odd that he is equating the LI being available to all races (regardless of orientation) being the same as going for "anything that walks on two legs." I mean, they're not going to add an attractiveness index. Not only is that subjective, but Bioware doesn't roll like that.
The only thing that I think was a missed opportunity was the Iron Bull likes redheads thing. Since hair color options are limited, the game would definitely have been able to call on that and have him make some remark. That would have been so damn adorable and awesome. That's pretty much it.
And of course as I said before, these are generally presented as building romantic relationships. So even if a given NPC has a certain type (Dorian likes burly guys, Sera has a thing for buff qunari ladies), that doesn't preclude them from falling for someone outside of that type (an elf Inquisitor) after getting close to the person.
Y'all ever sat through and watch a hurricane come in?
That's a sight to see
I've lived through a couple of hurricanes and tropical storms, but never watched one roll in.

I can't find a ****** text chat option for help anywhere on either the EA site or Origin or a clear answer how to delete my other account on the BSN in case that's part of the problem either. I think I'm just quitting now my head it throbbing and I'm doing nothing but spinning my wheels in the mud with this thing.
I'm probably overreacting of course cause I'm annoyed maybe I'll figure this out after the headache is gone and I have a nice cup of tea.

But you need to hear more details about Trump's junk! Maker, it feels like the US elections go on forever. How long will the campaign have lasted by November? 2 years?
Eh don't bother reading the rest, it's a mess. Also my post got deleted in the crossfire. I wonder if I should bother posting it again, without the quoted slur of course.
And now there's another lovely poster offended by the mere existence of the thread.

I had to go take a look at the KISA thread. I didn't see Kefka, but I saw this new yutz hedop. I will never understand why folks go out of their way to harass a thread. If someone doesn't like it, don't read it. I do it all the time, and I wonder why it's so hard for others to do that sometimes.
I'm pretty sure Hedop is Kefka, on his old profile. If you go back a few months, his posts are the ones talking about his "Dwarfess" Inquisitor and how much Blackwall seemed to fatherly for her to romance. I could be remembering incorrectly, but I thought that was Kefka while he was going by Asellus.

Trying to contact EA help is going to drive me to drink I finally gave up on the site loading for me. Even with a lovely lie down and a cup of pipping hot tea I still can't take this. Switching to my other account for this stuff seems like the way easier option now.

Actually i quite enjoy the election so far, or well atleast when the Democratic Canidates are debating. Not that i am going to bring politics into this thread. Its just fun when you live in a country far away, but the coverage for the US election is as huge as when we hold our own election. Just tells me what role the US plays in the world. I will say this though you guys have way better debates than us.

The American election is the best/worst reality TV show. It's fantastic to see candidates tackle the issues that truly matter and concern us all, like how the opposition's c0ck measures up.
10/10 would watch again.

Hedop has always been Hedop, that's how I remembered the last time. Unless Kefka is also having fun with alts I don't think they're related.

Speaking from experience, posting while on your phone is no fun.
I only ever post from my phone.
The only thing that I think was a missed opportunity was the Iron Bull likes redheads thing. Since hair color options are limited, the game would definitely have been able to call on that and have him make some remark. That would have been so damn adorable and awesome. That's pretty much it.

Oh, this is something I really loved in DAI. Bull likes redheads and is clearly into 'pretty' (but also makes appreciative comments towards people like Blackwall or Cassandra when she's throwing down)... Dorian with his, err, 'burly qunari pirates' fantasy... Sera having totally different comments for Inky depending on her race... even Blackwall says something - I think - about Josephine being the perfect woman, suggesting that he has a type.
I prefer it like this because people can have preferences, but it won't necessarily keep them from romancing someone who falls outside that line. I much prefer this approach to full-on racegating, as in Cullen's case... which I'm convinced was just a resource thing, but still.
For example, this was very cute... lol.
Blackwall: How are you two?
Sera: Me and [Nickname]? Fine.
(human) Sera: I mean, she's a leader. She has tension, and I get it gone.
(elf) Sera: I mean, we're both bony so it's like clackety-clackety-clack.
(qunari) Sera: I mean, I'm aching. She's a handful. Two of'em.
(dwarf) Sera: I mean, look at her. She's just so smooshy! Everywhere.

I guess I was wrong. Maybe it's just that he reminds me so much of Kefka at his most volatile.
