So I got a warning point for something I posted in this thread.

Abusive behaviour apparently.

 

In this thread?  That's surprising to me.  Sorry to hear that.  I haven't seen anything in this thread that is even close to abusive.

 

So this Midnight Bliss. Every time he or she makes a post this profile is liking it. XtreemeRacing, which is a profile without any games to it, any post or anything at all really. Its just a like boost for the post that he/she makes. Isn't that just sad? Like seriously? I feel like a jerk for even saying this, but it needs to be said.

 

I'm done with Midnight Bliss because he's just such a nasty individual.  But I did get a kick out of being called a "judgey middle aged Judy".  I might steal that one someday! 

 

ETA:  He's definitely using ghosties.  He was talking about my profile and the content in it but he's not listed as having visited my profile.  But there is someone called The Boss who just joined last week and has only 10 posts and was on my profile today.  I'm assuming that's Bliss.  Everyone else for the past week or so, I recognize.

 

Yep.  It's definitely him because The Boss just tagged into the thread and is using the same arguments with the same wording.  Ugh.  Amateurs......

It's the same guy, who said women playing gay romances are gross, but he himself, a gay man, idolizing Kaidan+femShep is totally great.

At least he stopped with the redhead gifs as a response to everything.

Eh I will give Bliss this though their comments when not making me have a little worry fit (like my sudden worry about enjoying a gay romance in a game) it does remind me to think about certain characters I'm working on better and try and figure out if this behavior really fits them or if I'm making it fit them to please someone else, i.e. having a female character I started writing as gay but ended up making bi just with an incredibly strong preference for her own gender.

I'm surprised you didn't quit speaking to him earlier, I had enough after the "gay men subconsciously want to have sex with women" argument. Problem is, he's hogging the Kaidan thread, so I lost all interest in posting there :/

Uggghhh quick vent, because this feels like the only place I can say it without getting chewed out: I can't stand it when people dismiss characters (or romances, or entire games...) as objectively horrible, insult their fans for liking them, and generally act like a giant raging douchenozzle. Just because it's not your cup of tea, does not make it objectively bad.

At this point? I don't know. Earlier I thought he had strong opinions, but generally contributed something every now and then to the KISA thread. Now it's just constant flow of troll content. Including some hive mind approach to how gay men should feel.

It's a silly reason, she's a character intended for a fandom rp, when I was researching characters I found that all the ones I felt she would click with where females and found out my partner wasn't use to or maybe uncomfortable with doing f/f stuff so we compromised and made her have more interactions with males but with still enough room that I can play her as I wanted and have her still be strongly attracted to females.

Okay, so I know this is rather coming out of nowhere, but I don't have anywhere else to ask this. I'm all caught up on seasons 1-3 of House of Cards, but have yet to watch the current season (4).

However, I did see this gif set regarding Frank and Meechum, so I know something happens this season (it seems like Meechum leaves, from the images).

 

This obviously isn't the focus of the show, but I am curious as to how the gay or bi guys in this thread view Frank Underwood, considering all of the various things we've had regarding his sexuality in the series thus far.

 

He is so able to compartmentalize that it's difficult for me to tell what his genuine interest is. I can't tell if he is in fact bi, or gay but willing to use sex with women as a power tool. With Claire, I've gotten the feeling that, while they did have more of a sexual relationship earlier, that was never a big thing with them as a couple and they meshed in other ways and that those were far more important to them as a couple than sex.

 

I'm not necessarily fixating on the labels, but they can be useful in discussions.

Yeah, and I was also totally convinced that he wasn't Zeta Reticuli, but now I'm pretty sure he is.  And there's definitely something odd happening there.  He claims to be gay.  He berates straight women for "fetishizing" gay romances.  He refuses to acknowledge that Kaidan is bisexual and refers to him as 'heterosexual'.  But then goes on about how Kaidan is his favorite romance.  There's either some weird self-hating happening or he's not at all who/what he claims to be.  I'm banking on the latter. 

 

He's also clearly young.  Like maybe a teenager.  And, while there are plenty of awesome teens on the boards, when you are a teen troll, things quickly become emotional and mean very quickly.  I'm glad that I've ignored him and "The Boss" (who is totally not the same guy..... ).  And right after I just proudly talked about how I only had 8 people on my ignore list.  Now I'm in the double digits.     That doesn't make me happy.

Oh Zeta transformed into the Boss, who did he think he would fool, the old posts are still there. Nah, there's no way they are not the same person, with Zeta at least he put some effort in, here he's using the same tone, phrasing, and constructions. (damn, should have done a forensic linguistics course, never though I'd need it)

 

He's also using only heterosexual couples in his avatars and posts. Either a very dedicated troll or there's some cognitive dissonance going on.

(And Zeta was also weirdly fixated on Kaidan, and that bisexuality didn't fit him)

Oh gods, Kefka just messaged me. Three long messages in less than an hour. Apparently he's seen this thread, somehow and left one of their crazy rambling messages. I don't even know where to start. He wants to be my friend, but he's super defensive. He's hurt that we were talking about him in this thread, and that the latest person they were talking about was them.

"The most recent person wasn't me, and it hurts that you insinuate that."

So, I guess that somehow they found us playing "Guess the Troll." If he is reading this, then he should get offline and go get some help. Like I suggested over a year ago.

Next time someone goes on ignore, they have messages ignored as well. KEfka crazy and I want nothing to do with them. They even brought up the gay KISA thread, like that's the reason why I don't like him. He told me that he doesn't know why I'm frustrated with him, but he's got all the BW games except BG1. Which matters...how?

I think the rest of the crazy post as well as the crazy messages, the contradictory statements and the way they ramble might have something more to do with it. I have zero interest in being his friend. He complimented me saying I was nice and unique and all that. I appreciate it, but the messages are getting a big fat delete. Give this person an inch and they'll go crazy all over you. Ask poor Lady.

By the way guys, thanks for warning about The Boss. That's one less crazy I have to deal with before coffee. I'm already a bundle of nerves due to having an upper endoscopy tomorrow morning. I've never had any sort of surgery in my save a couple of tooth extractions and a root canal. Never been in a "twilight" state, or anything stronger than that. I've got a mild phobia of anesthetics. I know it's dumb, but phobias don't make sense.

My 4 year old dog is limping out of nowhere and I can find the source. My first words today were "F'ing dog, move!" The next words out of my mouth for another 10 minutes was "Wilbur, no!"

What's funny is that I don't hate or even dislike the person. They do strike me as very troubled and very very lonely. They need to go spend more time outside and needs to get therapy. No shame in that; I've been in and out of therapy as I've needed it. However, I've had enough life experience to know that someone like that needs help, and I'm not getting involved.

Sorry about your doggy Nat Had something like that before with one of our beagles never found out what was wrong with her, she just got better on her own (we guessed it was a pulled muscle) I hope your pup gets okay soon and also hope your surgery goes well.

^Holy crap, that's seriously some creepy stalker behaviour. This is really spinning out of control.

 

Also, don't worry about the endoscopy. My mother and some friends had it, all under general anesthesia, and it's pretty mild, you wake up and recover pretty fast, around 15 minutes. Just don't drink anything harsh after it (like coke).

Ah, such a beautiful afternoon. I never smoke cigarettes in the house. It stinks up the house something fierce and the dogs don't need any sinus problems because their owners have an awful habit.

Vivi (the 4 year old terrier) probably just lightly sprained her paw/ankle. I'll just keep an eye on her until tomorrow.

@Bionic You're quite welcome. As far as the procedure,I'm sure it'll be just fine. My husband is going to get the younger dogs boarded for a couple of days and he's going to either work from home or just call in. He wants to take care of me. Our vet also has boarding, so if something comes up Vivi and Wilbur will be in good hands. I can handle the old basset without too many issues.

Zoidberg/Zoi: 12 yr old basset/doxie mix.
Vivi: ~4 years old, terrier mix
Wilbur/Willie: A little over 8 mos old, and we think he might be part doxie. Pure bred mutt, that one.

Edit: Thanks for the tip about soda. I'll just stick with water and gatorade afterwards. I'll probably have coffee once the meds where off. I'm trying to ease off of coffee, but caffeine headaches suck.

Aww, you named your dog Zoidberg? That's awesome.

 

I mentioned soda, because someone I know grabbed a can of coke after the procedure and immediately started bleeding. She had to go through the procedure again to check for damage. For the first few hours after still water is probably the safest.

From a brief skim of the op I think they are asking 'why do all the male characters suck?'? I think I might be an attempt at a troll thread only because I've seen them do that 'HOF needs to come back' thing before, even saying the dead wardens can be possessed by envy demons and then come back that way so everyone get the most important character to the franchise back.
