Ooh pretty

I'm not leaving leaving I'm just lurking leaving. I don't have much to vent about so why clog a nice thread aside from to drop some happy pictures once in a while?

Though thanks for my new desktop background :D

If I ever get sick of BSN enough to post that  I'm leave, I hope Lady charms me back with one of her ever lovely images.

Venting then, as much as I love training going through the old routines again to gain what was lost is kind of annoying. Tip of the day: Don´t get injured.

Well, I don't know what went on in that thread, but I get rather frustrated with the fixation over tops/bottoms in relation to gay men. And the idea that a guy might enjoy both (versatile) seems completely unheard of by some people. As one (gay male) poster in the Dorian thread put it: "Straight men think more about gay sex than I do."

Arguing over that type of thing is one of the quickest ways to get me to leave a thread. It's just stupid and ridiculous.

Kinda late, but found relevant comic

That bottom/top fixation is soooo 11th century

>sounds like an anime character

do you even Tolkien

This just reminds me of how Peter Jackson made the best battle scene ever put in a film, and then the worst one later on with the Hobbit! And now i want to rant, and then vent.

Shush, there are no Hobbit films. (Though I'd recommend checking out the "Tolkien cut" fan edit)

Yeah, watched all three extended editions the other day and there is enough material for one good movie in there. They should've made just one!

Work was rough today. We were hosting this wine and oyster pairing for Valentine's day, which is cool, but people try to take advantage of it like crazy. They basically want unlimited wine, but that's not exactly something we're allowed to do.

Plus it was packed. And loud.

Just found out that my wound from surgery that was nearly closed reopened a few days ago, got to find that out when having to change the bandages and now the pain is going back up to where it was the first day of coming home from the hospital. Not bad enough to need the prescription painkillers thankfully but strong enough to need roughly four extra strength Tylenol.

you might want to mix in advil to the routine, lots of strong tylenol can do damage to your liver

I did not know that thank you for the tip, I've been taking that stuff pretty much since day one of the surgery so this is great to know. Thanks.

I really disliked the barrel riding fight scene, and the riding molten gold on a shield one was even worse.

Tolkien Cut has you covered, to the best of the editor's ability.

Not entirely sure on the legality of it, and certainly not on uploading/sharing it openly

Usually, I like having subtitles on when I play a game. Tonight it spoiled the twist for me.

But... if he actually says it in the game, you're actually supposed to hear it, hence the subtitles stating what is said. Perhaps he shouldn't have said it at all, but I don't see how that is the fault of the subtitles for making you aware of it.

About subtitles in general, I usually play with them on as well, even during repeat plays. I also watch TV/film with subtitles when I can, particularly action types so I can clearly understand what is said during all of the actiony scenes. However, I've since realized that they distract from looking at a character's face, particularly that of my LI, so I've been playing with them off lately unless I need to record dialogue for a specific purpose.

In context, the player is intended to assume hatter is using the possessive "your" though, so that they're expecting to find another kidnapped girl to rescue and it comes as a surprise when...

Got a mild vent and a minor one. Lesser one is realizing how many little freedoms I'll have to give up when I move out like not being able to sing both poorly and obnoxiously and having to get used to wearing shoes again on a regular basis. The slightly less minor one is just realized today that I have no idea what kind of rent or payment is going to be expected of me in the new house and knowing full well that the question will be answered with evasiveness at best. On the upside it's not like i'm signing anything but still I would feel a lot better knowing what I'm expected to pay while I stay at a new place even if it is a temporary stay.

Oh and accidentally came out to my grandmother, probably won't be as bad as I'm thinking it's going to be but I am not looking forward to that talk tomorrow. ^^;

Hmm.. those sorts of discussions can be awkward

I'm about to b*tch about something. But I will keep it short.

The notorious DrinkQuisition has been locked down. And yet... the entire Andromeda section stays up.

WTF is this?

Good luck with that! Maybe she'll surprise you. I finally had the pronoun conversation with my mom about my kid. She still messes up, but I was so relieved that she didn't have a big drama about it and blab to all the Texas rels.

I don't see any mod post, why was it locked down exactly? (if it was locked at 4096, I would have guessed you had broken the system :P )

Also, the entire Andromeda board deserves to be wiped clean somewhere between now and the release.
