What 4 kits in combination is the most deadly?
I think we should get a BSN platinum game together with some real teamwork.

Think it was on Jade.
Great synergy like that rarely happens in PUGs unfortunately.

Yeah, PUGs nowadays all seem to be about "my favorite build this week," irrespective of the rest of the team's composition. I hereby resolve to change my character, if appropriate, on my very next PUG!
You sure do see a lot of PUGs with multiple kro-gards, but I think that's sheer coincidence.

4 GI javelines and/or claymoars would be disgusting

obviously GI x 4.
Aside from that, the most co-oppy games I've played have consisted of something like this:
Tech Team
Paladin: snap freeze and fire shield melee all day
Ghost or GE: overload and/or overload, GE's turret helps the paladin sustain melee
Male quarian: arc grenades and incinerates
Vorcha sentinel: flamer and clusters to clean up the mess
Asari Team
Valkyrie: similar role as paladin above with area priming and close quarter features
Justicar for the reaving and the bubble bonuses (priming, debuffing, defenses)
As-dept: for all three of her powers
Assguard
Recent cool biotic team i pugged in
Drell adept for the reaving and nading
Warlord with that biotic hammer
Human sentinel
Human adept
srsly though, GI x 4.

I haven't seen much talk of individuality apart from the occasional bumping of the solo threads and the try hard thread. Everything else seems to be about builds, your favorite this and that, complaint threads and weapon threads etc...
There never any team work based discussion. It's all LoneWolf strat. Nothing against it, seeing as we had to crawl our way through the PUGs to get to the BSN. Now that we have capable teammates, I think our next evolution of play would be to start working kit combos.
This is one thing I can't say I had much of, planning an actual team strategy and attack plan.

They do stack, part of the reason that multiple GI's is ridiculous

4 member biotic team. Everything go blue boom.
But best team combo however is Paladin/AIUx2 + GE/TSen/TGhost/HE chain overloadx2.
You can make so many explosions and much faster than you can do with biotic explosion. Because SF primes multiple target and chain overload detonated up to 3 targets at the same time. But what really makes this so deadly is SF ability to go through walls and slow cd. You can literally spam SF+ overload.
Only biotics than can do the same is reave+shockware and reave+cluster grenades. Or some crazy games with Fury/Valkyrie running with AF at group of enemies with shockware/clusters following them. But SF+Overload combo is still much faster and easier to do it.

A few months ago..I ran in a biotic team with Swan Killer & Justinman vs cerberus on vancouver and it was hilariously stupid fun..splosions..and double splosions every second of the match ..I was a vanilla asari dept, justin wuz a huntress, swan wuz a collectdept and we had a drelldept with us...With the vanilla asari adept I felt like a quarterback with way too many wide open receivers ..cuz, ya know..warp & throw...there was so much blue on all the enemies at times I couldnt decide which power to detonate with .. that would be fun to duplicate.

I think it's just that the fire and spirit of co-op isn't as lit as it once was mainly I think because of people's falling away and ofcourse this game being old. So naturally the few faithful tend to pug, solo or just drift away from playing and just post here

I keep reading this here, and yet I meet more new pugs (meaning low level gear, low N7, low CP) every day.
This ofcourse doesn't count for the playerbase as a whole. It's speculative ofcourse because bioware never released the data of logins for us to analyze but I feel like most have stopped playing or better put the rate of fallen players is greater than new arrivals IMO

Not sure really, on PC the player base is quite large still, sure platium games these days are not that great unless you have a thing for clutching each wave but Gold is very much alive, lots of players around still, each time I pug gold there are new names that I haven't seen before, so the game really is alive and kicking still.

I still play most days, and I see a spike in new players every time the game goes on sale on Origin - which is every couple of months, roughly. Many of them seem to hang around, and some improve quite a lot. There are a lot of gamers who didn't play ME3 the first time round, whose interest may have been stimulated by the visibility of Andromeda on the release calendar. The old guard from BSN is mostly gone, I agree, but the replacements are flowing in.

Agreed, most lobbies fill in seconds on PC still. And wasn't pugging Plat always a lottery?
