My recent platypug pc games in the last few weeks have almost all been good, albeit with a few notable exceptions. But I'd say around the 80% have gone well. Also all very quick queues too.

2 tanks and 2 squishy pyjaks? I think a krosentinel and a drell guard will be an amazing match.

Not sure really, on PC the player base is quite large still, sure platium games these days are not that great unless you have a thing for clutching each wave but Gold is very much alive, lots of players around still, each time I pug gold there are new names that I haven't seen before, so the game really is alive and kicking still.

I still play most days, and I see a spike in new players every time the game goes on sale on Origin - which is every couple of months, roughly. Many of them seem to hang around, and some improve quite a lot. There are a lot of gamers who didn't play ME3 the first time round, whose interest may have been stimulated by the visibility of Andromeda on the release calendar. The old guard from BSN is mostly gone, I agree, but the replacements are flowing in.

Yea perhaps

Are you saying you believe us, or you don't believe us? Because why would we lie to you?

The most deadly combination ever would be 4 TechnoTurians with Arc pistols.

... at least until each TechnoTurian notices the other three sexy fat turians, then it would rapidly turn into a dance-off

The best team depends on the enemy, the map and the abilities of the players in question. Some are better snipers, some are better with shotguns (for example, I am only about average with the Venom, but I can snipe with the best) and so on.

That being said, you can come up with dozens of combination, starting with the simple four Krogan Battlemasters to biotic/tech combo teams or two snipers with two shotgun experts, all playing an infiltrator.

One of the big problems of this game is that the best team of 4 is just simply the best character for that appropriate situation multiplied by 4.

So QMI, DrellGod, GI, take your pick.

I don't know about that. A Bubble Asari + NovaGuard are good for creating choke points, a GI/Piranha AP Ammo would be nice in the back

Deerber has a point. You don't need choke points when you can disintegrate everything instantly.

4 member biotic team. Everything go blue boom.

But best team combo however is Paladin/AIUx2 + GE/TSen/TGhost/HE chain overloadx2.

You can make so many explosions and much faster than you can do with biotic explosion. Because SF primes multiple target and chain overload detonated up to 3 targets at the same time. But what really makes this so deadly is SF ability to go through walls and slow cd. You can literally spam SF+ overload.

Only biotics than can do the same is reave+shockware and reave+cluster grenades. Or some crazy games with Fury/Valkyrie running with AF at group of enemies with shockware/clusters following them. But SF+Overload combo is still much faster and easier to do it.

Almost as good is Flamer x2 + Chain Overload x2.

Snap Freeze + Overload is definitely better, but the time I was a HE with a GS and a VS, I was laughing out loud at how many fire explosions were constantly going off.

With biotics, I like two Human Adepts, a Phoenix Adept, and a Justicar. Three Singularities is hilarious, especially if placed at multiple chokepoints. Full Shockwave + either Area Reave or Singularity with multiple enemies walking through is awesome. Multiple explosions. And Warp > Smash is pretty brutal against armor.

I say there is 2 team setups that works no matter map and enemy,
One is the biotic setup, the other is the snapfreeze - chain overload setup.

I recommend a setup of Asari Justicar, Fury, and a Classic human adept + a juggy for blocking choke points. You dont want classes with overlapping powers, you want to have the broadest set for power combinations as possible.
I must stress that is it important to spec all classes into Increased biotic detonation damage, where ever it is possible and i also recommend to take paths in skills that increase dmg done to enemies for the whole team, like "Expose" in the "Warp skill tree".
Also understand that "power dmg increase" passives from the passive trees like "Alliance training" Does not affect Biotic or tech explosions! In setups like theese they are a waste of skillpoints.

Some Biotic action with the buddies:

The Snapfreeze with tech combo dmg cheese i linked afew times before:
