Moby - Extreme Ways (The Bourne Identity)
Daft Punk - Tron Legacy - Tron Legacy (End Titles), Recognizer, and Arrival.
More of the good ones: Flynn Lives, Nocturne, End of Line.

Nothing as underwhelming and a letdown as ME3's credits song.
This will do. Made very own ![]()
?
shrug
Ideally the end theme should blend well with the narrative of the game. For me, Faunts' techno break the immersion especially after hearing Vigil. It should be something that embodies the story, the characters, the desperation, the hope.
Something by the same people who made ME1's credits music.
Exactly. As long as it's by Faunts, I trust it'll be incredible.
I feel like "We are the Champions" by Queen is a perfectly great song to end on.
Every game credits should play that song, in my humble opinion. ![]()
Interesting thread but I do not feel I can participate until I've played the game or heard more about what intended themes it has.

There are excellent songs in the 'controlled' epic, mood rock, and overture music genres, to name a few, that would not necessarily scream Mass Effect or Andromeda. For example, the end of ME-1 OST used Faunts' exceptionally performed M4 Part II. If I had not known about ME-1, I probably wouldn't have made a connection to a rpg sci-fi game, yet it fits perfectly. True, a foreboding-mood music track would not be appropriate for an upbeat/positive story, so you're dead right that knowing what kind of game it will be is preferable before speculating about the type of music that you might suggest. .
One interesting song I've heard recently is 'Wake Me Up Inside,' by Evanescence. I can 'see' it being an amazing song during the ending credits. I started this thread with suggesting a few of my faves from the Disney movie 'Tron Legacy' by Daft Punk. Those are very nice to visualize in my mind too.
So give it a try!
I'm going random with this one
As a take away.
...vigil's keep.
I'd like a callback to the first song you hear when you first boot up Mass Effect (1).
The one that plays when you land on Rannoch (ME3).
Granted, I'd be fine if they "rehashed" the music they used for the original trilogy, but that would be lazy, so I anticipate that there will be new tracks for a new trilogy.
But musical motifs are what they are because we recognize them.
I'd like to see similar motifs, such as the "DING-Ahhhh..." of a Paragon interrupt or the "Hssss-CLANG..." of a Renegade interrupt.
Something that is distinctively "Shepard-like".
Don't get me wrong, a "Shepard 2.0" is likely not what is being done nor what is asked for, but if we're going to follow an example in the game, why not pick the best one available?
Which brings me back to the beginning. That track of the Mass Effect (1) main menu, Rannoch visitation... it would make an ideal book-end.
Of course, if Andromeda is supposed to be the start of a NEW trilogy, having such a "final" track wouldn't make sense.
If that's the case, then something with more of a beat, to illustrate that THIS chapter is done, but not the whole story.
I'm hoping that the story is, for once, ****** excellent. I'd actually like the (potential) trilogy to be a lot darker and serious than what we have had, and really push some themes around loneliness and loss (to match the expanse and danger of space). Something to really make people sit up and think.
And I want this to be the track that plays over the ending scene, to match the mood.
I can dream. Here's to more shooty bang-bang, fetch quests and Not!Miranda's arse.
