But, if the tone is going to be along the lines of a Space Western with colonization as a theme (I don't know if that's what going to happen, but it's a common guess on this forum), then I can't help but think of this one:

Well we could use one of mine. It's electronic. It kinda has a spacey cowboy cop feel to it. More for an opening theme or closing credits. I used Oscar, JP-8, Oberheim synths as well as electric guitar and synth bass, and electric guitar through a large effects rack.

Silence.

An armoured hand lying in the dust. A finger twitches. Not!Shep is lying prone on the floor, surrounded by the bodies of her enemies. She coughs and stands; looks around. She sees the fallen bodies of her comrades, cut down where they stood and fought. A hundred bodies lie around, her foes last relentless onslaught to prevent her from destroying the [MCGUFFIN] in vain. She is exhausted and alone, but she has succeeded.
