As the Epilogue rolled around for my dear Inquisitor, I took some time looking back at the (...what?) 70-75 odd hours I had just spent in Thedas. Can't say I have been this happy with how a game progressed and finally ended in some time. With the exception of Vivienne (and Cassandras voice), the 'Brightest of Their Age' have been, and will continue to be, on my mind for some time. I did have clear favorites (Blackwall, Varric, Solas (the bastard), and Dorian), but I enjoyed everything everyone had to say. I never had a real boring moment in the game...ok, I confess, I grew to despise any sandy environments, but anyway...in all other regards the game kept in such a trance it was at points hard to rip myself away. So, now as my dear Inquisitor readies her disbanded Inquisition to combat a certain Dread Wolf, with her trusty Ruffles by her side, I cannot wait what new adventures await in the future.
Finally finished all of DA: I, and am very happy

It is a great addictive game. The Hissing Wastes is a slog but contains some of the best loot and resources in the base game. My first play through was a Qunari Necromancer that did all the DLC. That clocked in at ~200 hours. Thankfully I'm more efficient on subsequent play throughs.

I spent the majority of 2015 playing the entire Mass Effect and Dragon Age series so i was sad to see it end. (For now)

I just started my second playthrough as an Elven mage to see how it is different from a human. How does the world treat a Qunari Inquisitor? The Qunari just never seemed appealing to me as a playable race, but might have to come around some time. Also, the reason my playthrough was "measly" 75 h. was because I spent majority of my time in Fereldas, and the very eastern parts of Orlais (Emprise du Lion, etc.). Could stand any of the Wastes, Oasis's, and whatnot.

A typical playthrough for me, including every quest, shard, mosaic, and journal entry, is ~160 hours. I generally play on nightmare, but I'm using T3/T4 crafted gear, so that speeds things up.

What did you people who spent over 200 hours on the game spend the time on?
I did everything in the game blind, on nightmare, and only ended up with 150 hours including all DLC.

It depensd on how fast a player you are I guess and how much farming and leveling up you want to do but sll my playthrough's have been between 200-250 as well Because befoer the DLC I was around 220 now I'm around 230-240 with all DLC added

Crafting gear and farming mats (or schematics before the nug), reading codex entries, talking to companions, etc. all takes time. It's not just about going straight from point A to point B and getting stuff done. The only time I finished in 75 hrs was when I skipped half the game. ![]()

Agreed I'm more of a completionist than a leave stuff alone really if a quest is in my journal then I will try to do it if I can but I don't always do every quest but certainly most of the bigger ones I do. But again that also depends on the types of characters I'm RP'ing as well.

Even on the PS3 my games never went higher that 50 hours of playtime with the Jaws of Hakkon DLC.

Coming back around to the OP...
It is a fun game. I'm not about to confess what playthrough # I'm on but it's been a great year+ in DAI. There are moments when I just can't keep going but something always draws me back. And what's still amazing to me is that I keep thinking about what I'll want to do the NEXT playthrough.

yeah my Topal is my 6th and I've kind of got a 7th 8th and 9th planned kind of as well. As I was going to do a Qunari mage hten another human mage and finish that off with a dwarven rogue. Mostly because I've not done a Qunari or Dwarf yet

I take my time in my PTs. Charria was like 300 hrs or something from cellar to cellar ;-). It sure was a ride, but the again she is a dwarven lady of pure awesomeness!

Not too much differently. The folks at the Winter Palace downgraded me because of my race and the fact I'm a Mage. Didn't stop me from scoring with Josephine though.
