More points if Unknown Map(25%) Unknown Enemy(15%)
You sure that also applies to weapon XP or this more BSN new pug trolling?

That's be quite useful to know. I don't have a Talon so I might do to Pistol when I get it. I mean, I can do other 8 Pistols in the meantime
That was only an example. No one else has posted a list (I'm sure it's somewhere, Resource Library maybe?) so here's one:
Resurgence:
GPSM
Striker
Kishock
Rebellion:
Reegar
Krysae
Harrier
Earth:
Typhoon
Acolyte
Piranha
Retaliation:
CSR
CSMG
CAR
Blood Pack:
Graal
Commando:
Disciple
Phaeston
Scorpion
Machine:
GPR
Javelin
Arc Peestol
Outsider:
Raptor
Talon
Hornet
Reckoning:
Lancer
BPP
Venom
Spitfire
Adas
Executioner
Suppressor
If you're chasing CP, also note that one power counts in Blood pack and Tech mastery:
Subnet
And then there are the characters that give you points for both waves and extractions:
GI
GE
Justicar
Kroguard
Batsent
Batsol
Vorsol
Vorsent
QFE/QME
QFI/QMI
Volus adept
Volus engineer
TGI
Havoc
ACA
Krolord
Cabal
Jugg
Talon merc
So Batsol with Kishock is doing potentially 5 challenges at a time (Kishock x2, Ballistic blades, waves, and extractions), and Kroguard with Graal is doing Graal x2 and both waves and extractions.

That extra U/U XP bonus is added to all enemies, which means you get more point from killing the enemy. That directly relates to any weapon or skill CP's.
Simply said, U/U games give more points all around, which makes U/U games best, if you want CP's.
Edit: Also, Collectors are worst for any CP's as they give the least amount of XP from all factions. Which is funny though as Collectors aren't in any way easiest faction.

Nice list, though you forgot one thing as Cerberus Harrier got a 200k challenge in Rebellion too.
Nice list thanks!
Also thanks for the other tips guys.
Still on challenges but not weapons. I'm working on N7 banner too. I see 2 main alternatives:
- Constantly promote classes until 60 promotions is reached. I can do 2 classes every 3 days, overall. Let's make it 4. I try to play Gold to go faster but as I don't have good weapons it's hard as I'm low level too. So sometimes the group fails.
- Play with good kits on Gold to improve manifest. Then play low level kits with better weapons.
What do you think?
Firstly, you're welcome, it's all in the challenge tab anyway. ![]()
In my experience, it's better to do the N7 challenge early, especially while you're learning/improving, because you will want to be respeccing your characters regularly anyway, and because as you get new weapons and characters you may want to try them out in Bronze/Silver before taking them to Gold (I think you may be the exception here, since you did Lone Wolf very quickly). Afterwards, when you have 65 characters all exactly the way you want them, promoting regularly is a pain in the derrrière.

Fixed, thanks for pointing that out. I think I am blind to the Harrier since I try to forget it exists ![]()

Heh, it's easy to be blind for Harrier, though my blindness is for another reason. It's so easy "challenge", that you tend to forgot, that you have done it already. ![]()
The Lone Wolf was a one time thing I focused and I used a specific kit for that. It's not like I can do that whenever I want
You have a point about promoting early. But it's so quick to get to lvl 20 that I barely have time to tests the kits. Even if I played 1 bronze or 2 per character, not sure if this would be enough to really test and see what could be better.
So what I have been doing is right after I promote a class, I take the most suited kit for Gold and PUG from level 1. It's quite hard to PUG Gold at lvl 1 with low manifest but it works. In a few hours I'm 20 again.
However this way I spend many gels and I end up having to buy jumbos all the time, which slows down my manifest.
So it's tricky
Besides, jumbos don't give characters cards, so no XP. I've stopped promoting a long time ago but if I remember correctly I rarely had to play level 1 characters on gold. My strategy was to avoid having all the 6 classes at low levels at the same time (and simultaneously, to always have at least 1 class at high level). For instance, I played gold / platinum matches with a level 17-18 infiltrator, and then bought SP or PSP packs that regularly gave me 250000 XP points to level up my other classes, while still improving my manisfest. Thus, my adept that was at level 1 was now already at level 8. When I finally reached level 20 with my infiltrator, I promoted him, and then switched to my adept, who was now at level 12, or even better sometimes. I remember that I promoted once a class without playing it a single time, thanks to the XP collected in the 60 or 99k packs.
The recruit packs also give XP. With a little luck, they put your character from level 1 to 4. At this level, you can put points into all abilities if I'm correct. On tanky characters (that I find the best to play gold at low levels), you can already get a source of damage reduction and the possibility to create litlle combos with your powers, along with a little boost in fitness and in the passives. This helps significantly.
PUGging gold at level 1 with your manifest seems quite tough, and likely too costly regarding consumables. A silver game in this situation sounds like a better option to me.
I had to level up while learning not so long ago, and what I found most effective was to do two silvers until level 10-14 and then gold, except with infiltrators, as they are more effective even at lower levels. Those I would do only one silver with, and sometimes none.
Edit: also, what Loufi says.

That is a good ideia indeed. Promote like 3 to 4 classes. Play the other and buy reserve packs to get classes or veteran packs. Then when one class is maxed, promote the other.^

For N7 Mastery, I would promote every class at once, and then spam recruit packs. That way no XP is lost regardless of which character card drops. It doesn't take many cards to get a class from 1 to 8 and at that point it should be ok in a standard gold game. I played level 8 with friends in platinum on occasion. If the character is too low it feels a little like leeching to me though, unless you just go all in on Arc Pistol or something. Even then, you are weaker than you would be otherwise.
Use only decent weapons from the weapons challenges.
Throw them on an infiltrator.
Definitely don't bother with the Shuriken challenge...I speak from personal experience on this matter.

How are the points awarded? Assist? Or only kill? The higher the difficulty, the more points you earn?
From time to time it's good to visit the resource library.

I'd recommend doing this only in your friends lobby, because you are most likely not much contributing to team dps, considering the low manifest.
And you never know if you'll finish a PUG, considering... the PUGs.

I read once how the points are awarded, might be good to read again indeed. But I wasn't sure that the challenge for weapons followed the exact approach.
I'm finishing Infiltrators and I'll start the strategy of promoting 4 classes, keeping 2 of them maxed out. Then I'll play with those and open Veteran/SPSs to get XP cards.
I promoted 3 classes today and bought 5 VPs and 4 RPs.
VPs: not worth it and they seldom give XP cards. I have all uncommon kits maxed.
RPs: quite useful, although Murphy crewed me a little and gave me XP cards for classes that were already maxed out.
The final result is that I got 2 out 3 classes to lvl 8, which is not so bad ![]()
Now I promoted one more and kept only 2 maxed out classes. I'll focus on RPs as this will give me XP cards, appearance stuff and also might unlock the last kits that I'm missing. I even got a Scorpion I from it!!
For the N7 mastery I'm playing the Asari Vanguard only (sometimes Novaguard or Drell for the mix)
- put 1 point in Biotic Charge
- put 1 point in Grenades
- put on the Grenade Capacity Gear
- play on Grenade rich maps
... and it doesn't really matter what level you have. So I don't need any XP cards.
And if you are on PS3 you need to play her on host, ... so you can't steal my nades ![]()
Hi! I'm wondering, what is the best/fastest way to accomplish weapon challenges?
I only have a few of those and it seems to take lots of time to get one done.
How are the points awarded? Assist? Or only kill? The higher the difficulty, the more points you earn?
Fastest is to solo, specially with weak weapons.
Points are awarded with both kills and assists. The higher the difficulty, the more points you get.
Avoid the 100 kill medals challenge unless you like tedium.
I liked the idea of soloing Silver to get points with Avengers, Predators and other weak weapons. There's the Sabotage trick I could try too.
On another note, the Wave/Extraction challenge for kits could be done on Bronze or Silver to fast things up. Maybe Silver would be better.
If you decide to go chasing challenge points I have one piece of advice: Combo them up ...Remember to knock out the weapon challenge with a power challenge..while you are trying to finish off a wave challenge for a character...at the same time remembering to chip away at a long-term challenge..such as melee--or grabs ...I remember knocking out 7 challenges before wave 3 of a bronze solo game awhile back....thank you T-Sent........Don't just do weapon challenges when you can combine so much more...why only have 1 slice of pizza when you can devour the whole damn thing?

Yes, that's a good one. I kind of try that.I've been trying to select my maps based on what I still need. Regarding kits, I still need most of them so that's not an issue as most of the kits have a challenge too. But combat stuff is ready and most of the powers too. What I'm missing are Cerberus and Collectors, which I'll get naturally (as the Spectre Mastery too), weapons and the DLC stuff. The Squad Elite also is almost done as I've been reviving a lot lately. I'm also working on Promotions for N7.
But weapons and aliens, those are quite far.
Also, I forgot..when it comes to the challenges..You don't have to complete every single one in each category in order to obtain the banner...sometimes they have 12 challenges in the tab..but you only need to finish 7 of them...thank god, cuz some of the characters..I couldn't stand past 2-3 games...
