Also, I forgot..when it comes to the challenges..You don't have to complete every single one in each category in order to obtain the banner...sometimes they have 12 challenges in the tab..but you only need to finish 7 of them...thank god, cuz some of the characters..I couldn't stand past 2-3 games...

 

I'm aware of that and I agree: it'd be a pain otherwise. A got Biotic God and Mathemagician by using what I had available back in the day. I even had to go for Tech Armor points since I didn't have the rest of the stuff!! Surprisingly, it was quite fair to do it, plus the fun and risk of the game style

EDIT: I've been buying Reserve Packs a lot and this works quite well with N7 challenge. I started using Adepts at lvl 18 today after maxing Infiltrators! So I didn't play with them once but got them to 18 with packs. Quite cool. Beside, I've already unlocked some nice missing kits, being the AIU my favorite one from this week's packs.

Avoid the 100 kill medals challenge unless you like tedium.

True, but a few times I thought I'd "challenge" myself and make the last part of a weapon challenge be the 100 medals challenge.

 

Nowadays I do let it accumulate naturally.

Just an update/comment on the progress:

I've been focusing on Challenges (mixing up extractions/waves, maps, weapons, etc) and the result is quite nice. I've been able to speed up many Challenges by doing so.

Resurgence is done, Rebellion, Earth and Retaliation are all 95% done. Bloodpack, Commando and Machine are over 50 and the rest of the Alien ones are below 50%.

AS for weapons, Shotties and ARs are 90+, Sniper and SMG 50+ and Pistol is below 50. But I noticed that getting 140k points is not so bad. The bad part is getting 200k for the Alien challenges.

 

Also N7 challenges is very time consuming but I'm close at 66% (40/60 promotions).

 

It will still take a some time to get all this done (200 waves kits take long...) but I believe the BotB banner will be mine in time. Patience!

I'm working on Banners as well on the new manifest. I found that I got a significant headstart on N7 Mastery by relying on character unlocks to level up. I'd save up credits, play each class to level 20, promote, and then spend the credits on reserve packs. You have a good portion of character cards to still unlock, so this method could speed things up for you.

I did a similar thing for 2 or 3 weeks until I got fed up of RPs. Now I'm on APs and leveling up my characters through match XP.

This has been working well too as I already got nice URs and some of my rares are improving fast.
