The GI has the best kung-fu & throws the best rave parties. Although I prefer the Venom for Melee GI.

Yes, it is very much possible and it's fun, but you're going to need like 9 meds with you just to be safe. You can run out of 6 meds on Wave 1 if you like being reckless and prefer to get your own fat bum off of the floor. I wouldn't recommend it on Platinum unless for LOLZ, but you absolutely need to be the host to play Melee GI at its most effectiveness. Off-host causes lag, and if you spam your heavy melee too fast in succession, some of your pulses won't do any damage but you will suffer the shield lost, regardless.

I don't get why I never see any bonus power proxy mine GI melee builds? It's a great melee debuff and free stagger, you'll still be under cloak, and why do you even need more then 3 points in passives if playing melee GI with some light omniblade holder?

Sprint
Tap melee button
When electrical bubble is about to pop, tap melee
Didn't work on PS3.
You have to hold it briefly first. Not tap (that triggers the light melee instead). But I'll try it on PS3 for you next time I'm on it and let you know if I spot anything different.

I'm pretty sure Xcal's melee GI build was similar to this.

"Geth do intentionally penetrate" being the correct statement. To do the Heavy Melee spam in quick succession is to watch and time your GI's pulse slam. As soon as the GI slams and the green pulse expands, stop the heavy melee and then do another heavy melee. Rinse and repeat. For me, I listen to the sound effects for timing.

Melee breaks cloak either way. Just fire the proximine when you're in melee range and commence pulsing. Would rather take the sniper bonus and have one build work for either sniping loadout or melting loadout.

That's nice.
And the only issue I can think of with a proxy melee and bonus tac cloak power is some BioWare feature or bug with how tac cloak with bonus power works. ie. The dmg boost doesn't last past first power break. So you only get the standard tac cloak dmg boost timing after breaking with proxy even if you have bonus power. Haven't confirmed this on GI, but have on Shadow (where the second Strike doesn't get the tac cloak dmg boost every time).
I only like the bonus power on tac-cloak proxy GI because you're a class cannon and remaining under cloak after a proxy help with surviving.

I don't remember. But it not breaking after proxy is still some nice needed extra cloak time to get in better position and what not. So the only issue with this build that I know of is the possibility of that one bug or feature I mentioned in the last post here.
