I have the same issue with a few specific people.  On xbox, Ivokee and I could never connect to each other's lobbies, and with a third party host, we often could not see each other ingame.  On PC, I have been having the same problem with JRandall.  Sometimes it works, but usually it doesn't.  We just get stuck joining forever.

 

As this happens on multiple platforms, I guess it's a lolbiovar thing.

Me and my old roommate had the same problem on PC. We had a third roommate we usually played with so it was rarely a problem, he just invited us. But the times when he was at work or something and we wanted a game we'd have to pick something else.

I heard that it could be NAT issue. You could also try later on, sometimes it works for me

Xbox 360,,and can't join your friends?  Simple....your friends deleted you off of their friends list and blocked you...How do I know this...??? I miss you LaKook...

I had the same problem when I got my first invite, my issue was solved by enabling upnp on my router. Helpful topics:

There's no need for insults, especially when the OP has done nothing to bring this on himself. It's a known issue with the netcode and is probably related to the joining bug.

 

It is known that this issue happens across platforms and is not curable by device reboots, configuration of NAT/Firewall/ports, or shouting at the hardware. It also comes and goes.

I'll insult my boo anytime I feel. And OP and I have played together and had this exact problem and resetting our routers has solved the issue.
