On PS3 I have invited two Buddies in my lobby.
I could talk to both of them, but they can't talk to each other. They saw the others Mic symbol in red.
I could see both in blue.
We switched the Hosts, but nothing changed.
Never had this before.
By the way. My PS3 is default DMZ. So there should be no problem with my Router.
But one of those Buddy's couldn't invite any other successful.
It's a strange world. And network settings are made by the devil.
I was able to play with JRandall today, TTT told him to start a lobby and set some weird kind of preset and have me search for it. Strangely enough, I was able to join right away.
Happens to me on PS3: can't join my girlfriend, no matter what. The only way for us to play together is me creating a lobby, putting some very specific criteria (like Plat - Collectors - Condor) and her searching for it, which will make her land on my lobby. But inviting doesn't work.
I have tried all possible sugested solutions, nothing worked.
May have something to do with me using and european disc on an american PSN account from Brazil, I doin't know.

I sometimes get this problem on PC. A solution is for the host to set a crappy combo like condor/geth/platinum, open the lobby and the you search specificly for this setup while it's open.
Update, if (on 360) I clear my hard drive and system drive cache I can connect just fine. Strange. Hope this helps.

Corer, I've noticed lately that few respond to your excellent contributions wayback since January. You seem like a cool guy -since no Troll have latched on to you, yet, and have a history in SP, liking Turians but not long enough with MP to like Asari yet as actual warrior class. why have you not signed up yet, in the lists?ok Im gonna say... Had this happen quite a few times in my "career" One time they even talked through my tv speakers after I cranked it up! It's usually temporary....a day or so and it's fixed randomly.
Dragon Age is a different story. If you can't hear them then you just can't for good.
