BC and SS will have you "engaged" the target before they take effect.

 

A sync-primed enemy can easily pick poor vanguards out of the charge, and marauders will casually elbow a careless Shadow to death.

 

If you want to SS a phantom just make sure she has completely lost your track and started to get away.

Sync animations, which all three of those are, bypass immunity to damage effects like Biotic Charge or other, less powerful animations. This has been available knowledge since the earliest centralized mechanics threads in this forum.

 

Flashback to that one Novaguard enthusiast shouting at Cyonan for not specifying that one is still vulnerable to sync kills during Charge/Nova animations for like two pages of that enemy mechanics thread.

 

I was once pulled around from behind a scion, & sync-kill by it.

 

Radius and prime status (if applicable) are the only factors that determine any enemy's sync availability. The direction the model is facing or even intervening terrain have nothing to do with it.

We deal with so much prejudice. I'm still working on my Spectral Rights legislation. For some reason, they claim that a president's ability to submit bills does not continue posthumously (which is really just more evidence of how necessary my legislation is.)

I started playing again a couple months ago, and learned that you shouldn't play against Reapers on Gold difficulty as a Vanguard when you haven't played for over a year.

I was sync killed in the majority of the waves.
