Well, "Spectre" stands for SPECial Tactics and REconnaissance...
That was more of a creative translation. Official logo didn't have "S.P.E.C.T.R.E." on it.

Spectre stands for "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion" noob.
Do you plan on doing something with that bat?
I'm surprised IT hasn't resurfaced during all of this. Something about ArkCon being an actual con and some craziness about the 'real beginning' of Mass Effect 4 ft Shepard.
Starchild's brother controls the ark.

They needed us to get to another galaxy and expand the harvest. #ChooseRefuse
IT 2.0
The Reapers won and they are now using species to invade other galaxies and expand on their cycle of madness.

Its all starting to make sense now.
The man in the photo holding his kids is TIM. Green represents the synthesis ending where he happily watches the world burn with his family.
Well to be honest I like what someone else said awhile back in another thread. Ark Theory + Refuse being canon, after spending centuries colonizing Andromeda we go back to the Milky Way with the next Cycle having beaten the Reapers. Blam ME series lives on forever lol

They win in 3 out of 4 endings. That's pretty good odds.
The forums would be a fun place after that.
the forums are a fun place whenever a new game releases lol

Saying the Reapers win in Control is like saying that the Saxons won at Hastings.
Well if one can claim Destroy is a win because the organics get to keep living... ![]()

Shepard just thinks she is in control but is she actually in control is the real question.

Shepard isn't even Shepard. But a program create with Shep's memories.
The question is; What's to keep this one from going Skynet at some point in the future? Is being voiced my Mark Meer or Jennifer Hale enough to forestall that?

Yeah, but even if we assume that the personality of "The Shepard" which is beyond any reproach of course, is supposed to direct this thing,
can we truly trust that this will actually be the case?
It makes more sense for the Catalyst to merely assimilate more data than it is for it to completely surrender control.

Who is to say Shepard's memories replaced the Catalyst but just joined the original Catalyst or Transcendence
Shepard is doomed to repeat the Catalyst according to that movie. They had to shut off the Internet to win.

Great now I'm stuck thinking ME3 is a scifi Dragon's Dogma...

Dragon's Dogma in space, I can live with that. Much better than what we actually got or should say what we didn't get: IT being true. People like to hate on IT but one reason I supported it was because it used in game lore and what we know the Reapers are capable of to fix the games messed up Deux Ending.
But if you want to play the long game, refuse wins us the Reaper War too. We know in Refuse we prepare the next cycle with loads of information on the Reapers and we leave multiple copies behind lol.
