Yeah. I bet Luke, Vader, and Dooku wish they had a lightsaber with a hand/wrist guard... -_-

I hope some of the planetary environments do look like that, so it would actually seem like our shields were cooking on a high radiation planet, like Haestrom. I wanna hear the new Krogan squaddie say, "so we fight in the shade, but no hiding!" ...and then everyone else can roll their eyes because he's quoting his hero again. :P

That's straight up funny, you think Vader got delimbed by just anyone? It took the best of the best to injure him pre suit or after it, just ask his list of dozens of lightsaber wielding opponents from Jedi to Dark Side Adapts. Dooku? Literally one of the greatest sword masters in galactic history and he was worn down by a guy fifty years younger in a power duel, obviously it was not lack of technique that saw Form Two fail against Four Five, it was Anakin being far younger, stronger and a able power duelist which Makashi exists for to Dooku to allow him to bypass. Luke was chump level in Cloud City going up against a cyborg abomination that had killed dozens of Jedi by this point that were all stronger then him, hell the only reason he walked away at all was because Vader wanted him to.

.-.

Poor, poor choices.

That's like saying Darovit would have been saved if his lightsaber had a crossguard.

I love that panel.

God Darth Zannah was something even at the age of ten, she could TK limbs apart with pure concussive force, impressive no? That's the difference between *cough* a ACTUAL Sith and whatever the hell Mr. Ren happens to be. And the sad thing is? This actually EU that is canon, thanks to the BS that is TCW but canon none the less, Ren was shown up in performance by a ten year old a thousand years before he was born, and he thought he was such hot **** hah.

God such a disappointment, Caedus was actually ya know, Sith material, not a whinny teenager whose abilities amounted to what I could do with the Force, as in not much.

o.o I am a contributor to the SW wiki you realize, I know lore.

*Whoosh* And like that, my point went over your head... Please, now stop, before you get the thread locked due to derailment. Something that shouldn't of started, because of a damn joke.

Jesus dude, I love Star Wars, but causing an argument over it, screams psycho fanboy. No, you didn't get my point. After this I'm done messaging. Kylo's saber is based on real knight swords. The T shape, is made to protect your hands from getting cut off when your enemy's sword slides down yours. Luke, Vader, and Dooku didn't have these, if they had wrist guards, they wouldn't of gotten delimbed so easily. Age doesn't have anything to do with it, Yoda says this quite a few times, even being living proof at 880 around Luke's birth, 900yo at death. Kylo's saber is like a gun, it's not ment to look pretty, it just needs to work.

Kylo will still probably lose a hand. It's in his bloodline. Lol

The fail is strong in this one...ironically Darth Caedus still fought a duel one handed, and with a hole in his gut.

:P

Yeah. Trust me, Trek nerds are worse. Have you ever had to endure a discussion about why Into Darkness is the worst Trek movie?

Come on, they have to be trollin'. It is emperically impossible for anything made by humankind to be worse than Insurrection or Nemesis......except maybe The Final Frontier.......and possibly Generations. Into Darkness could have just been 2 hours of shouting obscured by lens flare and it still would've been miles better than those. ST films usually don't set the bar high.

And yet most hardcore Trek fans, including my own brother, will argue until they're red in the face that Into Darkness is the worst of the lot. I can see the argument that Into Darkness isn't much of a Trek movie since it's all flash and no substance, but Insurrection is just a very long, very boring episode of TNG and the first Trek movie is one of the most boring movies ever made.

If anything it kind of proves the fanaticism I see with Mass Effect sometimes...people take their sci-fi seriously.

I want all of the companions to be available to us in the first act. I don't want to be recruiting companions late in the game again.

This. ME1 actually did this pretty well, I felt, since you had just about everyone before leaving the Citadel for the first time, save for Liara, who you can go straight to, whereas ME2 and to a fair extent ME3 were aggravating as hell.

I'd say most Trek movies are total trash. I enjoyed First Contact well enough, but the rest are either boring or flat out mediocre. Wrath of Khan is actually a good movie, but it aged horribly and I don't know if I can sit through it anymore. I'd rather just watch TNG. I despise the Abrams movies, mainly because the plot logic is laughably bad.

I'm liking the armor so far. It reminds me of ME1 armor a little bit. More simple and straightforward with clean lines. Her boobies aren't all propped up and big. No armor hoochie skirt with thigh high boots.

It reminds me alot of what Ash was wearing when we first met her...the Phoenix Armor, I believe.
