A lot of pugs are stupid. That's why I take a character with full lash and search collectors gold/plat games to a-bomb them all to hell.

Love the glory of reviving someone who just got downed in from of 2 bosses, 2 murderous mooks, and a sub boss but then wonder why they get killed in the process    Hey I'll save you (says this over the mic) and dares any enemy to kill them because they are the International Red Cross member of the team.

 

Carry little or no medigel and depend on you to keep them alive (I've heard many say this on mic)

 

Pay no attention to turrets, this usually turns into a Benny Hill thing

 

Like to step in front of you so your bullets will hit them and maybe the rocket you pulled out in time to avert an *any wave disaster about to happen*

 

Always know that their Locust 2 will help them get those Gold credits for a PSP

 

Know that by saving rockets to W11 they insure that they get to contribute a Killstreak to the team medals, instead of using one if necessary to get to W11

Sounds like they have some serious L2P issues if they are kicking people from Silver because they don't look good enough.

Edit: TLDR: he is the worst type of elitist blathering deranged f#ckwipe. Avoid him, always quit if you get in his lobby, even if you have the unknown requirements of playing with him. Let him solo.

Most of my pugs never like doing the objective, so usually i'm in the escort/hack by myself with a new/alt pug.

 

The last time this happened, it was on pre-set FB Giant/Reaper/Gold, I was doing Justicar w/ disciple for commando mastery. The guy was N7 Destoryer w/ Lancer X, he Missile'd W4/7/10, wave 10 was a hack in the back of bunker by spawn, & he was not in it for the whole thing, & missile'n all the spawns. For all his missiles he only got one kill streak, so I decided to Missile W11 to show him how to score ****** in a proper fashion.

 

I only used two missiles, got two killstreaks with them, & he was having a panic attack, because I jacked his spawn, then hit another spawn in 4 seconds, so he shot his missile at a spawn at range & only hit one brute.

 

But, shout out to the Phoenix Adept pug who smashed my bubbles, & reaves.

About the guy:
Back then, when I made my first steps into silver, I encountered him. He was all alone, in a public lobby, and put an instant kickvote on me and set this message: guy never then wait forever. I was confused as hell, what does he want? I replied, that if he wants me to leave just say so, if not, what is the problem? I thought he was having a problem that I not equipped any consumables. No reply whatsoever. I quitted. Next try, game puts me in his lobby, kickvote, I quit. Next try, this again. Fourth try was a match, but after that, the above procedure. By this time, I was really annoyed, because I thought the guy was trolling people by maintaining a lobby and kicking everyone who comes in the lobby, so I stayed in the lobby. He switched it to private and put a kickvote on me. I just left the PS on, to troll the guy back, and went to watch some football. After the match, the lobby was still on. Holy crap, I did not expect that. I asked him, what the hell is he doing. He answered, that he can show me hell and break me into a thousand pieces. That made me laugh, so I replied why trolling people with empty lobbies. This is where it turned out that he wasn't trolling. Sadly, he was serious the whole time.

He sent me some looong messages, bragging that he is able to solo silver twice with no equipment put on while I am bitching around in a normal pug match, calling me an idiot, useless, a leecher (notice, that we didn't even managed to play yet). My reply: then why are you playing silver, why not gold and why won't you play private with friends (I deliberately try to not insult him in my messages, to really figure out what's his deal. It's not to try to be "holier art thou", I just didn't want the messages to be concentrated on insults). His answer? He is looking for worthy people and not for scums like me. My reply: worthy to coop with? If this was a PVP, I'd understand you, but are you so smug that you are trolling people by this way in a coop game? Him: nobody likes N7 farmers, I am an useless leecher, I am worthless in a party, I would just killsteal and leech my way to get more n7p/cp/exp, I am a scum, me and the other people should be banned from this game.
My reply: I understand hating leechers, but by your definition the majority of the playerbase are leechers because they are not on gold level at least and many people doesn't even want to be good just enjoy the game as casual players. His reply: Bioware made a bad job on this, on Nintendo you can ban people form even joining your lobby and hosts are more important than sucky leechers like me. This was where I just sit before the TV dumbfounded and decided to end this link of comments: I admit it sounds bad, goodbye. Well, he didn't think so, he sent me his longest message: people who max out a character, and joins with lvl 1 chars in gold matches are twinks and only care about n7 rank, and when he changed a silver room into a plat room a noob joined with a lvl 3 phaeston. They are rude and unkickable mid-match, that is why they try that.
I didn't reply to this, he never replied to me again, no matter what my equipment or level was, he always put a kickvote on me on silver, so I think he remembers me.

Much later I actually joined him in mid-match, I guess he forgot to switch to private. He produced a really high score and had a blast in a Silver match, so he is a good player, just an *******. Plus point, he didn't have a mic, so at least he only do this in writing. (I actually searched back my messages, so what you can read here are the actual words, just in a nutshell because his messages were way longer.)

Back when I was promoting I joined a Silver game because I was level 1 and there was a guy who was QQ-ing on his mic because the others "stole his kills". I started following him and last-hitting everything he was firing at. After the game he told me to GTFO of Silver because my N7 was too high according to him  . He put a kick vote on me as I equipped the Javelin for maximum "kill stealing". The other two pugs refused to kick me and readied up. He then left his own lobby before the real fun could begin 

It's funny cause some people get kicked for having low N7 rating, and here I got kicked because I had too high N7 rating. Pugs are weird.

Some of my favorite things to troll the pugz that don't do objectives...

 

You wanna make me do the escort alone...or do the hack/upload ..solo..? ..cool, how's about I stand right outside the circle until someone else comes and help's me  ..the clock is ticking

 

We get devices for a 2nd time...(the 1st time I did all 4 of them by myself with no one around 2 watch my back)  ..I might do the 1st one..that's about it...  (unless someone is running around with me looking out for enemies)

I must be the stupid one. I always do objectives, even if no one's helping me. Might be my OCD... might just be stupidity. But I see objective, I haul my ass to it and try to finish it asap, no matter what.

I always do objectives as well..same as you...sprinting as fast as I can as soon as they pop up..but if I notice that no one else is even interested in trying to help on the money waves..not even a little bit?..,,..Then I have a problem with that...It's the reason why they are there, the reason why I am there....they should be helping, unless they are brand new and completely clueless.

I remember joining a silver GIP once and before my little bartarian ass landed on Dagger, I heard someone say 'thank god' on the loading screen.

I inquired about his status by asking 'what up mo fo?'

His reply was that everyone had quitted on him and that everytime he shot from cover a 'sniper rifle red light' nearly killed him.

I lashed the nemesis a few times and let that adorable little pug shotgun her to dead.

I had a lot of respect for him for not quitting, but....

There's a time and a place to grow a pair. Fight and die. Or fight and win.

Have pugs that won't do objectives? Hog the pizza and stand very close to the lz and wait for the timer to run out and watch the pugs panic or ragequit

Just had very smooth and enjoyable game with below 1k CP and N7 PuGs.

They were:

- in the hack circle entire time

- nuking targets

- using Medigel

- far from the LZ during the extraction

This is how the majority of the pugs that I play with seem to behave. And to that I'd add, doing revives.

 

BSN groupthink isn't right about everything.
