I was wondering if the abilities description in sync with the stats:

1) Turn the bolt:

Your expertise with the shield protects you against ranged attacks from the front.

Damage Reduction: 50%

This Damage Reduction is only against ranged attacks? So it has no bonuses when on melee?

Similarly,

2) Blessed Blades:

You rally all of your nearby allies to fight with greater strength, especially when facing demons.

Damage Bonus: 15%

This bonus only applies when facing demons?

There are other abilities with such example, but i'd put this for clarifications. Thanks for any answers.

More/better details are here, but hasn't been updated since Patch 5. So no Trespasser stuff.

1) Correct, Turn the Bolt is only about forward facing ranged attacks. They can still shoot you in the arse for full damage. ;)

Turn the Bolt

  • Grants a flat +50% bonus to ranged_defense against non-flanking attacks.
  • [Bug? - Patch 5] Active even when equipping 2H weapons.

2) The Trespasser patch added magic using enemies (Spellbinders) to the list, but yeah, pretty useless against bears and bandits. An upgrade allows you to leave the circle and still get the benefit.

EDIT: I can't find any evidence in patch notes that this happened. Wishful thinking. Demons only.
