I had the game on Steam. Recently I got it on Origin when it went "on the house" as well. Does anyone know if there are differences between the two versions? I remember a specific PC version had an additional demon form and a few larger resolution textures.

I don't know the answer, but I'm certain they are the same version (Jade Empire: Special Edition)(both websites are the Special Edition).  And if you want to try the Origin version, I'm sure you could copy your Steam save files over to the Origin directory.
