So I'll I'll introduce you to Sparky.

 

It's not so much hipster as vanilla reminiscences. Enjoy. All the pertinent things are ticked, basically you make techsplosions wherever you look and accept ammo primed TB's as a necessary evil. (Sparky believes quantity is better than quality) Fitness/Passives, Weapon Mods, etc up to you.

 

Chain Overload and Shock Drone should be prioritized.

 

Had an interesting (and long, 44 minutes) match with this kit. A really laggy duo (i didn't quit because losing consumables) with a flamer GT in Giant against Reapers (gold). Barely used the drone as it was being ignored most of the time, even if I did got one exploding-drone fire explosion. Host had to solo wave three after they revived me after doing the first device into a banshee gut exploration, and the cleanup of wave 10. I clutched wave 9. Now I may try Sassa's evil build. Wish me luck.

We did this subject only last week. No Turian needs a ladder for that. Do pay attention there in the back!

Remembered the next game where I took the same Technopoweredturnian kit out with the PPR and proceeded to do terribly. I think I can finally honestly say I'd rather get Condor than Hydra. I effin' hate Hydra.

Update: tried Sassa's troll build. Some thoughts:

 

Decoy is useless

Drone is more or less okay

Melee can't kill a gold cannibal without martial artist active

You have decent staggering with the krysae and explosive ammo

It was in general better than expected

I'm not using it ever again

What I think it's important is already there, but you can choose another gun if you like as long as it has a melee attachment. Focus should be on melee and using the turret to bring your shields back. I'm curious about what you would choose (hunter mode? Overload? Chain overload? AM3? Cyclonics?)

Melee Geth Engineer

Skipped passives since I didn't see much of a point, got that mostly covered with rank 6a's power damage bonus anyway and went with chain overload for some added crowd control. 

 

Basically the modus operandi was toss turret, run in, overload or venom things to get some of dat stagger, pulse melee, kill everything, die, ragegel, repeat.  I listened to the ME2 suicide mission theme looped on repeat during the mission because it seemed appropriate.

My melee key often got stuck into place when I intended to tap it, resulting in, uh... many disasters. The fourth guy, a drell adept, dropped out around w7 or w8; the other two were a  Drell Assassin w/ Harrier who basically solved the problem of What To Do With Atlases with this build (i.e. let him take care of them) and a Human Engineer. 

 

Towards the end Cerberus got too annoying so I accrued a lot of shotgun kills in the late waves. 

 

 

Now that I'm out of reset powers, I will leave this thread alone

^^ that was the recent kit to go for me yesterday (hence the reserved post, but I didn't bother to edit)

Took 4b and 5b in Passives, 3 pts in Fitness.

Went not that bad but was quite long. We got a Krolord during first wave who got banshee hugged every second wave. We nearly got wiped during devices W10. The HE is to squishy to tank ravanger shots from across Rio.

Tried to do this. But most of the brutes didn't care . Got some fire explosions from drone though.

 

Ok, this is what I used recently: QFE

Tbh I use the Executioner to reliable kill Guardians and Swarmers. You can choose whatever you want, as long as it can hold the power amplifier. The aim is to score well by shooting as little as possible. Let the turret outscore help the PUGs. A real support class.

Shock decoy always catches the attention of geth and phantoms, but Sassa's evil build doesn't use the shock evo  .

On that note, Here's a build for fat turian enthusiasts 
 
Weapon can be modded in whatever way you want, that's just how I do it. 
 
Huge fat turian, small pistol. Best played while wandering around the map pretending to be stealthy secret agent with a suppressor pistol despite the fact that you are a huge fat yet handsome turian. Sidearm recommended, such as CSMG, in case you get a big armor faction and don't want to kill your fingers (or your ammo).

First time I've ever used the Suppressor and was surprised at how fast it burns ammo.

I use this Human Engineer when doing the mantis challenge, Just be careful when using Explody the Combat Drone vs collectors, He likes to blow me up with aboms.

Quite enjoyed using the Mantis with this setup.

Tried my version of it: everything the same except I took responder loadout and cyclonics IV.Played two gold matches:

 

The first was Reactor, Collectors. I joined in the cleanup of wave 3. It was very fun, even if abominations were tricky. Lone scions were easy prey. Died on the LZ with 3 seconds to go.

The second one was on Jade against Geth, another GIP. This one was not as fun, because there were two Javelin GIs that camped the upper section, and didn't leave much for me and the other guy to kill. Add geth stagger, and some lag. and I had to use the Venom more than I wanted to.
