I wish this were the main theme for saren, one of the best tracks in ME1

The Shadowbroker had the best theme for a villain in the series, after TIM.

 

 

On that note the entire soundtrack for LotSB was great.

From this series, I though the Overlord Rouge VI had the best theme.


Overall, Colonel Radec from Killzone 2 has the most badass theme in recent memory IMO, albeit you'll probably hate hearing it after you get your ass kicked by him 50 times in a row.

KZ2's soundtrack in general was great, heavy, dark, industrial, with some orchestral bits mixed in, and it perfectly matched the space WW2 setting and art design.

Damn right, hell Shadow Broker was probably the best mission in the franchise in every regard for me.

Best scenarios,  great themes (love how it goes sort of like noir then to epic adventure), Liara was my ME1 LI so the dlc was extremely welcome after being given the cold at first and it tied up the romance in a perfect way for the end of the game. The boss fight too was probably the one I enjoyed the most, though I was a soldier, the hand to hand combat cutscene is surely off putting for biotic/tech characters. And the music just made the whole rescue mission so epic.

Agreed OP, but that all depends on the composer(s). Hopefully he/she (or they) will do a better job than with Inquisition (I didn't like Inquisition's OST, but that's my opinion).

 

On a side note, Cloverfield's "theme" isn't well known, but man it sounds absolutely epic (and is a very long track, something akin to a full suite). The best part of that track is that you can associate it (in your mind) with anything that's badass, or with impending danger (doesn't have to be a monster). It's just an overall awesome theme:

This would be my favorite (top five anyway)

 

It's so simple, so 80s but it really hammers home the vibe of this faction.

 

 

These are the devout, the hardliners, the remnants of a defeated army that rather then accepting surrender, retreated back to their final outposts and prepared for a decade. They waited for their enemies to grow complacent, to weaken and get fat, and then they made their move, coming back to the stage only when it was their time to do so.

 

They are those who dreamed of revenge every night, of reclaiming their homeland from those who stole it away from them.

 

When you first hear that song track it just freezes your blood because its a reminder that just because a war ends, that doesn't mean those who fought on the side that lost just disappeared.

Nah, there was an even better track in DAI and it was EXTREMELY underused:

 

 

I actually love that it was used for just the Haven sequence. I felt it made the track extra special, same for the Dark Solas Theme. 

 

 

I so hope to get a track as good as this when fighting through the endgame, and perhaps something memorable that really enhances the character's presence, much like Zimmer's Joker theme.

So many good soundtracks were missing from the original OST, I swear.
