Until you see AC and then whole KH case "Welcome to Disney"  ruins so called villain so much that this theme is only badass thing left about him.

AC was okay have not played KH yet. I own them both but don't have the time with my Job to play them just yet so I can't take you word for it now.

KH I never take seriously and never cared about too much at all, whole 'Mickey Mouse' thing is giving me biggest 'ugh' of mine time. Next thing you know KH3 will give me 'Let It Go' none-sense in here.

As for AC....Sephiroth sucks in there a lot! In past-original FF Sephiroth was badass villain with mama issues...true, still scary and badass one, when his theme starts to play your heart would stop and you know something awesome would happen, because he used to be serious villain and that you could take seriously. Later on in AC and from then on Sephiroth was just reduced to samurai eye-candy that tries too hard to be intimidating with extreme sadism to prove some point(even though original him never needed that kind of sh*t to be taken seriously) now you have trouble taking him seriously at all!

And third...

...so I can't take you word for it now.

Don't even know what this is supposed to mean? I wasn't trying to convince you of anything in here in first place!!! I don't give a damn about do you "take my word" or no. I just stated my opinion and my opinion is right that thing ^there. Your thought, your deal, you can do with mine whatever you wish because I just stated an opinion dear, I don't give a damn will you wear shirt with my name on it as some sign of approval or no.

It's just a old saying  never believe any thing you hear and only half of what you see.

So many good soundtracks were missing from the original OST, I swear.

Another example:

This should of been an official theme song for the Geth.

Ahh that track was damn epic. It doesnt play anywhere other than therum though does it?

Nope, not really. The only other time was in Noveria when you were entering the garage to the Mako and had to fight those Geth. That was only a damn 15 second fight.

So many epic songs were never fully used more than once, why is that?

Nah, there was an even better track in DAI and it was EXTREMELY underused:

Nah, I think you're wrong. This stands out even more because it was just in that one epic moment in the game that is ironically also the most climactic part of the story. It needed a variation of it elsewhere perhaps and I actually think it plays often during combat where it's just the drum track. But yeah...

Wait. That's not the right one you found. This is the one you meant:

But we're derailing the topic of villainous badass themery with general music talk.

I think they nailed it several times BTW:

This theme is both melodically iconic, menacing and sinister. Everything a real bad guy needs.

I think the bad guy needs something like this:

Okay, that's silly, but it's awesome.

While I love that theme for bowser, there was one that stood above them all. When I think Bowser, I think of this:

Oh, you're giving me nostalgia, mate!

If we have to go the Nintendo route though, this is good stuff.

But why stop there?

I know this is a trend to hate on DA:I here, but I thought the Elder-One theme was badass.

The version that plays During What Pride Had Wrought is pretty awesome as well :D  (starts at about 01:09)

I'd be satisfied with them just delivering a solid soundtrack in general, DA:I's was lackluster overall, and ME3's only had one or two unique tracks that I really liked.

Depending on what type of villain they are going to use there's different approaches, if they want a more pshychological villain then I'd point them in the direction of several tracks from the LotR movies
