Haven't done a run of the whole game in a while, and still haven't finished all the DLC campaigns, so I'm trying to put together a plan to do so, but I'm very picky and want to plan this out "right", so I'm trying to decide on party and my Inquisitor and such, and therefore, I've got a question.

I've never given Blackwall to the Wardens before, because I assumed that he would immediately leave my party.  However, apparently he sticks around with the Inquisition until Corfishystix is defeated, even then.  However, what happens to him once you get to the post-game?  Does he still stick around with a "they're not ready for me yet" excuse kind of like Divine Cassandra?  Or is he basically gone the moment you finish the "final" boss?

He sticks around.

He's there until the start of Trespasser.

I headcanon'd it to where he left soon after Corypheus' defeat. So I didn't have him or Varric for Jaws of Hakkon or Descent. Vivienne also left to become Divine. Dorian and Bull stuck around, and of course Sera and Cole stuck around. Cassandra was my romance.

You could play it to where Blackwall returns in Descent. Varric could also return for that realistically. If I had it to do over again I might have taken Blackwall along in Descent for the Darkspawn areas.

Although Trespasser states that it takes place two years after Corypheus' defeat, so in that context Blackwall and Varric would either have to stick around, or "leave" until two years later in your headcanon.

The end of the whole game or end without Trespasser because your choice affects the Trespasser, as well. Trespasser epiloque for Thom...

Yeah, it's that unromanced Warden epilogue that I feel is just really appropriate for his character, and that's why I was wondering about it.  Problem is, I usually make Cassandra Divine and have a rough time headcanoning her back into the group, which would leave me with Bull as the only Warrior if Blackwall left too.  Of course, now I'm also thinking about having Vivi as the Divine since I never use her anyway, and the politics suit her better than Cassandra.

Sometimes it's a wonder I do any playthroughs at all, since I can be such a perfectionist about how the story should go.

It's not a bad choice. I always choose either pardoned or romanced-pardoned but I do wonder if Blackwall shows up in DA4 for those, who choose the romanced and non-romanced warden. I guess it's up to BW how they want to go about it.

When it comes to available warriors, Trespasser affects Bull, as well.

^Thom and Bethany and Nathaniel on the same team!

Also, to add to that last part, not doing Bull's personal quest is almost the same as letting the Chargers die.

Hey, I did this, too.

Ditto, but with Cass instead of Viv as Divine.

OMG I did this. GET OUT OF MY HEAD

If you allied the Wardens you can headcanon him a representative or something. If you exiled them it's a little strange to hand him over.
