so they can't be ancient elves because they are all bald.

Uh? Where does it say that all ancient elves are bald?
Or was that a joke? XD

Have I missed something?

Based on observation.   Solas is bald, Abelas is bald, all the elves in the Temple of Mythal are bald.   The elves depicted in most of old rock pictures are bald.   The mosaics showing the evanuris seem to show creatures that are bald.    When we finally meet an ancient elf who isn't bald I will gladly retract my statement.

Ghilanain is described as having hair. Of course, that's a Dalish description so could be wrong. Actually, at this point we should probably just assume the opposite of anything they say...

Still, I don't think we've seen enough to be sure that every Elf was bald.

It could just be a cultural thing and they shave their heads for some reason.  They are obviously able to grow hair because I can think of no reason why being disconnected from the Fade would let them grow it all of a sudden, but there have been weirder things that have happened in this franchise?

Well if you go with the idea that they were originally spirits that became more material (like Cole) may be they didn't have hair because they didn't realise it was the normal thing for humanoids.   If they existed before humans there was nothing to go on (although you might wonder why they chose the two legged body form) but they may have wanted to distinguish themselves from animals that were covered in hair.

I don't think the elves in the Temple of Mythal shaved their heads to look like that because it doesn't look as though they ever had hair.   In fact, I'm not sure, but I don't think Abelas even has eyebrows.

Maybe they lost all their hair from the shock of being cut off from the Fade.. You know, like legends saying that Marie Antoinette's hair turned white in one day when she was condemned to the guillotine :D

Ok, ok, just joking :P

Maybe I missed any dialogue, codex or information that really probes he is a real elven god.

Isn't there a posibility that he is another crazy man trying to be a god?, we seen this already.

Or another impostor? seen already

Maybe he was one of the bald guardians of the Temple of Mythal who wanted to be more than a bald guardian of the Temple of Mythal and he does a good perfomance acting like an old god.

About him being a powerful mage, well, we have Alexius, a simple magister that created magic to teleport in time, this magic compared to make stone some qunaris is pretty... powerful?

When he meet with Flemeth at the end of DA:I, well there is always the chance that he lied to Flemeth, or that Flemeth isn't the real mythal, we know all the abominations are crazy.

I can't find an explanation to all the elves following him as their leader, but is hardly to believe he just told them "I am Fen'Harel" and all of them believed him. Solas could use blood magic to control their minds.

He is.

He is.

Did you believe everything a bald elf told you?

Not going into 'bald elf' shenanigans here. He is Fen'Harel but he never claims to be one of the gods, on the contrary, he is actually fighting against any such notion and through each dialogue he is trying to tell you - it's wrong to worship anyone as an omnipotent being. He almost always gives approval on simple questioning things, one claiming to be god would never encourage you to question. Yes, he is the one who rebelled, but he's not claiming the godhood - he just is - an unfortunate idealist that became something else - a murderer, freedom fighter, perhaps a misguided individual that has knowledge, sometimes power and that's about it.
