Because we really need more reasons and chances to disagree. So how old can a subject be before it is subject to necromancy?

I was just contemplating this question myself.
I am guessing though that threads from 2014 would be to decayed?
Druffy was originally intended as a bi romance option.
Sure was and really never to old and decayed to not resurrect!

There might still be a little life left!!!
How do you "bear" a title? Cover it in fur? Make it an annoying pest in the Hinterlands? ![]()
Good question, Hmmm we could ask Be(a)ren but I think, in all honesty, that the thread will suffer a grizzly en - d somewhere in the near future. ![]()

You look depressed, but no worries, I have just the "thing"

That's an excellent question. I'll head to the mountains, lock myself in a cabin for 2,936 years and return with the answer after some meditation.

Thash grape! We will still be here positing our opinions as facts eagerly awaiting trancendency! ![]()

I think the noble art of necromancy is good, only when it is used for necrophile, I would love to revive Wynne. For science of course!
I... thought this was going to be about the mage spec and got all excited. I'm sad now. ![]()
For the topic at hand, I think it depends on the thread, and different boards will have hard or soft rules governing thread necromancy.
If it's a thread about a particular problem and someone necros to say that they are still having it, or just recently experienced it for the first time, then I think it can be useful to let the devs (and other players) know that it is still an ongoing issue. Similarly, if someone finds a solution to an old problem, I think a necro of an old thread is a worthy endeavor to associate the solution with the original descriptions of said problem.
For other, less meaningful issues... while I'm normally of the mind to keep similar posts grouped together, and dislike seeing the same topics crop up again and again, one does not need to necro an old thread about how they hated the time travel aspect of In Hushed Whispers, beige jammies, nutcracker formal wear, or whatever. Just make a new thread.
Well, I have to admit that when I first entered the BSN scene I was a little surprised at the somewhat harsh view on necromancy and it - as you so eloquently (flatter to raise the spirits) stated - has its uses. Still there tend to be some old quarrels buried in those old threads that are resurrected as well that really should have beeen left buried. ![]()

You give it a snowmobile. Things preserve better in the cold anyway, resisting the onset of necromancy.

I realize that none of that made any sense, but I like that image, so sod off.
I wonder if the typo in the title was a mistake or was intentional...

That's for me to know and you to ponder, though knowing me, I doubt it.
