Hi, how do you know what's the lowest and biggest possible armor rating your armor schematic can have? I can't find it anywhere. Just how many ingredients it needs... I mean before you buy the schematic not when you already have it.

You will see 4 numbers under Armor Rating, for each schematic. The 4 numbers correspond to putting Tier 1 through 4 materials into the armor slot.
For example, the Superior Hunter Mail schematic (Medium, Tier 2) has a 15 Leather slot for armor. It's armor rating numbers are 143 / 167 / 186 / 206. So if you put 15 Nugskin (Tier 1) into the armor slot, you'll get 143 armor. If you put 15 Dragon Scales (Tier 4) into the armor slot, you'll get 206 armor.
All you really have to do is compare the tier and the armor slot number. Tier 2 is always better than Tier 1. Between two Tier 2 choices, 15 is always going to be better than 12. When the armor slot numbers are close, you have to look at the secondary slots to decide.
