How exactly a character that appear 10 minutes of the game has her own song!

But the savior of the world, The Hero of Ferelden, the grey warden who saved everyone f*cking morrigan from a giant archdemon and stopped the fifth blight didn't have his own song?

Or Hawke, who fixed... in his way... the mess he and his companion created... yeah... EVEN SAMSON HAS A SONG!

The HOF doesn't matter any more, and frankly most of Thedas outside of the Wardens don't care for him/her considering most of Thedas didn't even know a Blight was rising in Ferelden in the first place.

No. The Inquisitor's song is... "Inquisitor", I think is the title. It goes something like...

A soldier a savior

a hero a leader

Inquisitor fought for our souls.

A battle a breach

the one we beseeched...

...and so on and so forth.

I am sure "I am the one" refers to the inquisitor

"I feel sun
Through the ashes in the sky. (temple of Sacred ashes (?))
Where's the one
Who'll guide into the night?" (The inquisitor guide the Inquisition)

I can't found the song you you are talking about in the wikia

Fanbois like Harding, more so than Hawke. So Bioware in their infinite wisdom said, lets make song for Harding. Joy.

I am the one has nothing to do with the Inquisitor.

It's from Origins and is an Elvhen song, about Elves. The one in Inquisition is a translation of the original old Elvhen lyrics.

Why would the HoF have a song? A character who doesn't even appear in the game! Harding plays a vital role in the Inquisition as one of the lead scouts, and hangs around near the tavern where the bard plays. It makes sense they would know each other and write a song. Why would she write a song about someone completely unrelated, who she never met, who doesn't even appear in the game.

Well she didn't meet Samson too and she wrote a song of him, I have to admit I didn't thought about the fact that she is only singing things that are related to the moment, but still, how exactly there is not any song for the others heroes?l, or more bards?

Harding, Leliana, Cullen, Josephine, their work is totally overrated, they don't do ANYTHING. But they have songs, Leliana two in fact if we count trespasser song. The final fight with Corypheous you just need yourself and 3 companion more.

The song of Trespasser making a hero every companion is exaggerated too.

It sucks the fact that our character save the world/part of it and they aren't recognized, calling them "Hero of Ferelden" and "Champion of Kirkwall" isn't enough. The same happens in Trespasser, no one respect your character and you have to act like you were submissive and obedient.

I was always under the impression that the songs that bard was hired on for were meant to keep up moral for the troops and advertise for the Inquisition and therefore the songs she was writing/singing were meant to inspire through relevance.  Scout Harding is relevant to the Inquisition, Sera is relevant, Samson is relevant ... and so on and so forth.  Essentially she is being paid to sing about the Inquistion, she is not being paid to sing about other stuff.

BTW you are absolutely right Scout Harding doesn't get that much screen time, that means she needs more right?

If we are lucky enough to get any returning character from DA:I as a follower in Tevinter (either for a New PC or a returning Inquisitor PC whichever), my vote is Lace Harding. She's a likable character that didn't get nearly enough time to be developed and she makes sense to be an option to return narratively.  She's low key (she's not that famous as even she admits she has this wonderful ability to miss exciting major events) and thus wont be missed by Solas' spy network (unlike every other Companion that doesn't have the option of being killed in DA:I).  She's an accomplished scout who is almost always in the field so shes naturally hard to track and it wouldn't be abnormal for her to be away from base for extended periods of time.

Plus. she would be a good option for us to finally get a Female Dwarf Love Interest in a game.  BIOWARE ARE YOU LISTENING!  Show the Dwarf PCs some love (literally and figuratively lol)!  :D

Uh, sure. Your most important advisors who got you every piece of Intel you have, trained all your troops to be ready for battle, and kept the peace with every important figure across 2 countries did nothing.

Everyone should just keep worshipping the HoF who hasn't done anything in a decade.

Save the world from the blight, defeat the mother, choose the king of Orzzamar, help de Elves/Werewolves, save the Arl Redcliff, Choose the King/Queen of Ferelden, repair the mess in the Circle of Magi, stop Slavery, rescue the queen, avenge king Cailan/or not, find the Paragon Branka, defeat an Archdemon, kill the.. thing... in Golems of Amarrack, and find the cure to the Calling seems enough to me, is more than Cassandra or Leliana ever did.

Yeah, a decade ago. It's completely irrelevant to the Inquisition.

If you want to argue about specifics advisors did none of those , well with maybe exception of Josephine (who still used various ambassadors) , Inquistion agents/soldiers did.those things so all intel came from them to the top of chain command that is Inquistor.

That's doesn't mean the HoF don't deserve his own song.

The only noticeable thing that Harding did was defending mother Giselle at the start of the game, because if she were killed... nothing... important we should have missed... The only help we needed in the game was from the mages/templars to close the breach.

Harding can be replaced any time, the HoF don't.

The Hero found the Temple of Sacred Ashes, as well as... the actual ashes.

The Hero guided an entire nation, and multiple armies.

The song is titled "Inquisitor...". I forgot the "..." at the end, sorry.

She forgets all about Cole, even if she's in a romance with him. She doesn't really love him! You should make a new topic about this right away.

I'm pretty sure she forgets to write a Cole song because he keeps making her forget him throughout the game LOL!  Also, I'm fairly certain even "Human" Cole could sense if she didn't actually love him or not. :3
