one of my Gold Solos was 10 WS (having already Kroguarded Geth on Dagger once the second time was easier, wave 10 targets with all of my missles still available helped I'm sure)

Only seen it twice discounting any games lower than Gold. Both times with BSNers. One game did have a random Puggernaut.

I've had 2 PUG Gold matches were we got 10 waves survived and 1 Plat match - but that one was all BSN'ers so everything got wrecked super fast (and no, we were not missile speed-running)

 

In one of those Gold matches I was a Volus Engie and a decent, but not amazing team. I've had tons of clutch heals and my debuff mine helped a lot too. And guess who extracted? Me, Everyone died at wave 11, but the Volus got paid! For Irune! 

 

Basically I was this guy 

 

I'm not counting Bronze or Silver 10 wave survived matches, had tons of those while leveling up.

i have no idea, but some solos and duo at least.
one pug game felt it could go the ditance recently, but we all dropped like flies after W5

When I die, it's usually trying to revive someone else. I figure it's a team obligation. When my team fails to all 10WS, it's usually because someone, or two or three, try to camp the extraction point.

 

So, good teams are required. Obvious. (And no collectors while playing a squishy adept on a small map.)

You get them on Solo a lot, 5th and 10th Waves.

I prefer to play with very dangerous pugs. So I honestly don't think I've ever seen it. But I've been playing much more carefully these day on PS3 account because I don't want to waste money buying Jumbo packs for gels when manifest still needs lots of work. Course, rage geling still happens sometimes, but usually try to hold out for pugs to save me... which is very risky, as some of you may know. Being the cause of the revive pileup is a new experience for me.

I know if I clearly top score in a PUUG match, no way are we enjoying a 10 waves medal.

 

In fact I recall my last 10 waves medal was with 3 other outstanding/high-ranking randoms who were playing strong kits.  I loaded up a zap ammo CSMG QFE, debuffed armor, stripped shields, blasted some FEs from other players' Inc ammo, racked up assists, and bottom scored.  And I loved it.

So, if i'm in a pug, i start to care about surviving, when the 3ws medal pops up. "I'm not the one going down first, not this time" or something like this is going through my mind and i start playing less aggessively and even using OpsPacks.

 

I've never really paid much attention to this until reading this thread. I know I've done solos without dying, but pugs not so much.  My Krentinel was in a game on Reactor Hazard yesterday where I was indeed the first to die on Wave 7, and I felt really embarrassed. Still, not as embarrassed as if I'd been the BotB Krogan Soldier host who appeared to have some kind of rattly purple wave emitter device masquerading as a shotgun.

So once, I got thrown into a Gold challenge with EFFIN' COLLECTORS. The only players where me (Turian Sabotoger) and this hommie with a Talons Mercenary. IDK how high that player's perk limits were, but thanks to about five dozen Cain Mines and a handful of Cobra Missiles (My limit was 6 missiles), WE SURVIVED. I was just glad I had enough medigel so that if my character got shot down, I could self-revive while the other player went and blew Collectors up.

It's either that or we survived through pure adrenaline rush on our controller hands. 

I swear man, if oyu, Mr. Talons dude, are reading this, GOOD EFFIN' GAME. Like, you the real MVP.

I've gotten 10 WS a handful of times while soloing, mostly with the Kroguard, though no Reegar. I think I used the Disciple or Eviscerator for fastest cooldown.

 

And some friends and I used to get it back in the White/Geth/Gold days.

 

I don't think I've ever gotten it in a Gold public game. I've gotten 5 waves quite a few times, but no 10 waves that I can recall. A couple of times I remember almost having it then someone would die during wave 10 and we'd lose it.

I actually just remembered this is always very possible with me when pugging with Juggernaut. But that shouldn't count.

Being in good shape, running and ambushes. they stop following you after a while. You might see a Husk moonwalk by.

Only ever had one other in a team game and that was also with friends. Had some games get very close lately though...
