In my most memorable 10 waves survived in a PuG I joined on wave 1 with a volus merc, sporting drill ammo, a Typhoon, and wall hack. The match was Dagger, Geth, Gold, and there was one other (former) BSNer there. We mostly held the tower and I seem to recall getting a bit of luck with the objectives... but that game was a few years (?!) ago, so I'd rather not claim too many more details.

 

I've had a fair bit of luck in gold PuGs over the years, but due to my bad habit of attempting to face-tank anything with just about any class, I don't see 10WS too often (5-6 times in gold PuGs). There's at least one game that comes to mind where I am quite certain I'm the only one to have died, though. Does that count for something?

I went to do a 10WS duo for a challenge

 

Didn't quite make it to wave 10, in fact, I died in wave 1. But it was a close one. Just had to survive 9 more waves.

My story is that some douchebag host who was trying to get this achievement kept quitting on the 8th or 9th wave after dying. Happened to me twice in a row (GiPs, same host).

My story is that ever since I made this thread, I have been the one to ruin any attempts at 10 WS by dying first. And yes, on at least one occasion, I was the only person that died prior to extraction (and I died several times that game.)

Only got 10 WS once in a gold pug, it's very difficult to get in pugs even if it's 4 experienced players, someone will always lag etc. 10 WS is far easier to get in solos as you only need to depend on your own connection instead of some random pugs potato connection.

I know I've been part of 10 WS games but we usually only get the 3 because of a certain genius who gets trigger happy and has never gotten the timing for dodges down pat...

10 Waves survived with B00g13man, I had another 10 waves survived with Hoochie in a gold due and 10 waves survived with David Diablo, Akire and Smeckie in another gold game. If you haven't played with any of these scrubs...it felt like soloing Platinum with a lvl1 melee volus. I count getting 10 waves survived with these scrubs as my single biggest achievement in ME3, my reaction was like:
