Maybe it's just me, but I find it strange that I have this wonderful room in Skyhold, with lovely furniture that I can just look at. After running around all day saving the world and then return to my quarters, put on my pj's and then all I can do is stand around. I have a couch and a desk chair that I can't sit on and a bed that I can't lay down on. I consider this a terrible waste. On top of that you can't even manipulate the console so you can sit or lay down. I know it has been this way throughout all of the Dragon Age games, but I was hoping since we can jump in this game we could at least sit down on command.

This ain't Skyrim.

Besides, who needs sitting or reclining when you can climb up on your balcony and jump down on your bed?!?! Not to mention from Leliana's loft onto Solas's head, without a scratch!

What would be the point? You don't need to actually rest.

We have a half open book on top of our couch. I just keep wondering if my Inquisitor is a sleepwalker, because I never seem to remember when was the last time she sat on that couch to read the damn thing.

I can see what the OP means. I don't need to sleep in it but after taking time to figure out what bed was right for me i wish i had more use of it.

I never felt any need of this kind of feature.

Romance Sera, then you'll make plenty use of it.

I'd like emotes, sitting etc. and such for screenshotting purposes if nothing else. Hell, even MMORPGs let you sit and wave and things, and they're always pretty light on the "RPG" part of the acronym.

I did. Had to switch out the bed because Sera falling off the Orlesian 2 bed didn't work right.

Didn't mean to get everyone's panties in a wad. I am use to playing mmos where emotes are allowed, just none of the ones mentioned here. Who in their right minds plays Sims. They put a 'Sit' button on the throne, didn't see why we couldn't have the same for our chambers. Not even remotely interested in Sera unless it involves sticking her head in the chamber pot. Thanks for all the post.

You can only sit on the throne for a cutscene judgement, you can't the rest of the time.

It is a little wasted, it's a great space but underused.  It would be nice to able to chill out and invite someone up tho, like Varric for a game of cards or your LI.

Now I'm offended  :(

Though I agree with you about Sera :P

Anyway, the Sit option at the throne is only for the judgement and it starts the cutscene.. you can't sit and just chill there.
However companions can sit, ( at the end of the game they sit around those food tables..) So I don't know why Inqusitor can't.. Ah well, I suppose he/she don't need no rest! Rest is for weak people

Dwarves - too short to sit on human chairs

Qunari - too tall to sit on human chairs

Human - too noble to sit on peasant chairs

Dalish - what's a chair?
