Hello,

I'm close to the end of the game and I have had this problems in the past where some critical NPCs turned hostile and got killed by greycloaks in the keep. I managed to go past that having them set with setfaction commoner.

Now I just completed the siege and Aldanon is missing, nowhere to be found within the keep (and I can't get out). He's not in the main floor or the library, he's not downstairs. All I have is Nevale telling me to prepare and Kana with the usual managing dialogue.

What command can I use to make him reappear and move on with the game? I didnt have any success loading a previous game and redoing the whole thing, it just turned up the same.

Thanks. I hope someone can help me out on this, I'm pretty desperate and I don't know if I would start the whole thing again

This is it, Aldanon should be there between Kana and Zhjaeve, interrupting the conversation between Nevale and me, but nothing happens.

you could try this in the throne room. Create Aldanon:

`
debugmode 1
rs ga_create_obj("C", "21_aldanon", "wp_3110_aldanon", 0,"",0.0)
debugmode 0
`

Then talk to Nevalle or perhaps to Aldanon himself. Note that there are some variables & whatnots that might make things difficult ....

Basically, it looks like dialog '21_aldanon' [2100_Crossroad_Keep_A2] should
a. add party
b. warp to Merdelain

I appreciate your help, bud. I think I've already read the whole forum looking for an answer and your name comes up in pretty much every thread solved. Thanks a lot, really.

Gonna see if it works

PD: Lol it spawned him Hostile and everyone jumped to murder him. It was pretty funny to watch. Gonna try again and see if I can pause and unhostile him before they shoot his sorry ass

It worked wonderfully once I managed to pause fast enough to save Aldanon's life.

You are a mage, thanks again :3

I'm curious - were you using TonyK's AI when this happened?

I haven't played the OC with TonyK's AI yet, but I started MoTB with it, and it prevented me from getting the spirit feats after the battle with Okku. I removed the AI from my override and replayed the battle and everything worked fine.

YES, in fact is the only thing that could have caused it. Everything else I have is cosmetic stuff, more hairs and such. I tried removing override, but I guess the damage was done (NPC dead already) because it didnt respawn.

Be careful when you play OC then just in case its that. For me the problems of the hostile-then killed NPCs started once you gain control of crossroad keep. Most of them would be killed and respawned on re-enter but some wouldn't.

Yeah, so I'd guess it was the AI. It seems to mess with a few things. I'll keep that in mind next time I go through the OC.

Have a couple other mods I want to finish first.
