I preordered ME2 from Amazon.com, which was, if I'm not mistaken, supposed to give you the Inferno armor as a bouns. But there has been no email or update in-game confirming it, and there is no mention of it anywhere else. You are supposed to get the Inferno Armor when you pre-order from Amazon, right?

Was that not a Gamestop promotion? AGH, I hate these damn pre-order bonuses that cause so much grief for gamers. Everything should at least be released as regular DLC, this pre-order crap is just irritating!

There was a box on the Mass Effect 2 page that says "Please give up to 10 days after release date for pre-order code to be sent by email" A LOT of people missed that.

And the Gamestop bonus was the Terminus Armor and a Rocket Launcher.

I'm almost sure the Terminus Armor and the M-490 were the bonuses you got from gamestop. But I agree with you, its so frustrating to cut through all the damn red tape just to get a set of armor. And what makes it worse is that they don't just include them with the redeem code feature.

Oh, well I was one of those people lol. Thanks a lot for clearing that up. Now if I could only wrap my head around EAs method of getting this damn collectors edition armor...

I assume the Inferno armor is Amazon's pre-order perk, while the Terminus Gear and Blackstorm gun are Gamestop's. I have only heard recently about the Inferno armor.

You should get an email from amazon titled, "Your Bonus for Ordering Mass Effect 2" from Amazon. I just got mine today. Now I just need to figure out how to redeem it.

No you don't get that from Gamestop. Only the Terminus Weapon and Armor. Amazon and I believe the EA Store gave the Inferno Armor with a preorder. Which I finally got the code for at 1am from Amazon. Inferno Armor FTW!

No, if you preordered through amazon you got inferno armor. If you preordered through game stop you got a different set of armor ( dont remember the name) and a weapon i believe. Also, I ordered from amazon and got my code early today (had a launch day delivery) so check your email if you ordered off amazon (and maybe your junk folder).

hey same here i pre-ordered from best buy & i got nothing, the people at best buy dont know ant they all tell me something different. how are u supossed to get the damn code? aaaaaaagh!

Ok thanks for the info. I disagree strongly with what EA/Bioware is doing with all the DLC's for this game. You shouldn't have to order from 5 different vendors to get all the DLC that is available.

hey killakow i was worried too. i preordered from amazon and didnt receive my inferno code either. after reading this thread i just checked my mail again and there it was... in the spam box.

so you should get it soon just check your spam before you delete it

I ordered mine from Futureshop in Canada, which is owned by Best Buy, I didn't get anything in the box, and when I emailed their online support they didn't know what I was talking about. They said "maybe" I should wait a few days and I "might" get one in the email. If nothing write back and they would escalate... I have a feeling I'm not getting any pre order content...

Unless the website specifically said that they would send you an Armor code then I doubt you will get one. Only certain sites had the pre-order bonus.

On the offical site it just said pre-order only, it didnt say a thing about having to buy it from Amazon.

I was looking forward to using it since it would help me a lot.

I was afraid of that, the Bioware page said "Pre-Order" but did not specify specifically where. So I went to Futureshop (Which should be avoided as they treat their clients like crap, only went cause I got a giftcard), no one knew what I was talking about, and then i preordered online. I got a rude response from their online ordering department as well.<_<

Yeah, Inferno was supposed to come with preorders from Game as well, but no sign of my code yet. Funny as I usually get preorder codes from them the same day they send it out.
