I can never tell if these sorts of suggestions are serious, because it's almost as if people want a Mass Effect game, but don't really want a Mass Effect game. Like we had someone asking for no biotics, and now no alien allies. The frak is this madness?

Being a jerk to aliens is kind of a ME thing.

The BSN certainly hosts the stupidest gamers I've seen, second only to the Left 4 Dead 2 forum.

How would you know? Are you military? We make fun of people who talk about emotional things.

"Put your tampon in"

Work is work, deployment time is a little different. We workout, smoke cigarettes, and ****** at how we can't drink beer.

Why do I smell patchouli and reefer all of the sudden? It always gives me the irresistible urge to waterboard somebody.....

And this is why there should be a draft. Have fun in the sandbox.

Really?

All 3 fail to provide cover fire.

One of them tells his boss to stall the council without having any evidence

Another stands around like a dumba** watching a robot upload a code that leads to her species being wiped out without making any effort to stop it

The other one thinks its ok to take armor from a dead body and display it like its some kind of trophy.

I wouldn't want them

Yeah.

Coz a space racist willing to die for the Salarians and guy so boring he offers to blow himself up were just stellar sidekicks in the end.

Ashley wasn't racist.

What's wrong with Kaidan offering to stay with the bomb? Boring had nothing to do with that.

She wasn't just racist, she was space racist.

And Kaidan knew nobody liked him so he offed himself.

I equally can never take the 'humans are boring' sentiment seriously either.

Yes she was.

And you don't make sure a bomb goes off by standing next to it. Unless you're planning to find out in heaven.

Ashley was racist and Kaidan was clearly suicidal.

His disdain for you for having saved his life is clearly visible on Horizon.

There's a reason you can kill them both.

What's Ashley's excuse if she stays with the bomb?

No and no

No and no

And what's Ashley's excuse

1) Yes she is.

2) As a space racist, I'm assuming she's from some backwater planet and has an Uncle named Jed. Its not hard to see her volunteering to stand next to a bomb to see if its really going to explode.

3) Yes.

4) See two.

5) She's a space racist and he's boring.

I thought Ashley merely dislike humanity playing nice with the aliens because everyone was mean to her family and branded her as an alien sympathizer for decades. I get that she's bitter because of that but she never wanted humans to dominate the galaxy and kill everyone.

Not sure why people don't hear the sneer and disdain in Garrus' voice when he would commit genocide against the Krogan This one guy would happily kill off an entire race because of his prejudice... that isn't racism? If that so, why can't I easily kill him in ME3 as well?

Garrus was a serial killer in ME2. The stuff on the terminal about tipping drugs into a Batarians eye sockets till he overdosed was madness.

And Ashley isn't just racist she's an extremist, she offers to shoot Garrus and Wrex.

Garrus and Wrex.

^Granted, I hate Ashley with the passion of a thousand undying suns, but isn't that basically after Wrex pulls a gun on the commanding officer? That's not the worst grounds to be killing somebody.

Nope she offers to cap them both on the Normandy.

Good thing he takes one for the team during the suicide mission

I would've added an option to let him on the Normandy or not after finding Victus on Menae

Yet you also do it.

A lot.

Seriously, privates gossip like schoolgirls. NCOs are only marginally more discrete.

Don't forget the SHARP training.

and how many of those orders of Hackett did you have to obey?

None of them, because we were a person with free will.

However, disobedience should have come with some sort of consequence.

I would like more authentic military personnel on my ship. Doesn't need to be the whole crew, but at least some of them. I think ME1 Ash was actually a good example. (Not ME3 Ash though, that was another drama queen). And I definitely would like another companion like ME1 Ash. Don't care for the hate of space hippies. Though her view isn't the only way to see things, most of what she said or did made sense to me. (I don't want her original writer back though. Did more bad than good.)

Post-Tuchanka during the scene with Joker. He really was laughing at you.

It wasn't renegade really. Just one of his streaks of passive aggression and incessant malcontent. He's all talk big but do nothing except whine. If he's a true Renegade, he would show up at the Shroud and kill Mordin for the Salarians.
