I was rethinking the OP's REAL intention for more military-content and came to the conclusion: Star Ship Troopers - Same Sex Showers is probably what he really, really wants...

I'd prefer if there were no women in the military or they just had their separate branch. NVM that's the Chairforce and Navy.

Can your face be more symmetrical and less hideous?

No, OP, no it can't, and that answers both questions.

Watch out ladies, we've got a real tough guy behind the computer. I'm a rugged manly guy, stuff you civilians know nothing about. You may beat me in a beauty pageant, but when it comes to combat, you lose no contest.

England is the dominant region politically, economically, and culturally

Scotland can't decide if it wants to be in or not, Northern Ireland shouldn't exist, and Wales....

It's fine - most Americans don't know the nuances, no need for excuses :P

It'd be nice to have a selection of voices for our protagonist... Give me Britmil Officer tones over the Americanised English any day...  Much more in keeping with my actual voice.  ;)

To the OP; no.  I don't want my squad mates getting arsey with each other as to who is going to try and give that foxy medic (well, she looks foxy on tour) a quick trembler behind the ISO containers before they all get fobbed off as she's just not interested and prefers the young subbie because he's got a flash car back home and a bit of cash saved up... Or having to be pulled from squad selection because the Badge has decided to give them extras for having a creased (space) uniform or wearing unauthorised kit.  Or listening to them complain about the last boy/girl they pulled on a night out and how much of a hippocrocagrillapig s/he was.  And imagine the 'bed socks' you'd go through on a tour to Andromeda... Plus, if you're whining about not being able to have a 'beer', then you're really not thinking things through properly...  Listerine bottles, that's all I'm saying on the matter!

Serious answer: I always pictured the SSV Normandy to be more in keeping with SF-types in general, with them being relaxed about regulations that get many green bleeders all lathered up, but aware that if it hit the fan then they'd be able to do the job properly.  I suspect the same will be true in MEA, given that I doubt it's purely a military ship.

What I am asking for is less worthless petty drama, and more strategizing with alien allies on combat tactics. Instead of talking with Tali about how she has a crush on the CMDR, gaming assets could be allocated to running a joint mission with a turian infiltration team or a krogan breach and clear. Seeing how these species military tactics differ from our own. I'm not expecting any of you to understand as you would rather get to the aliens reproductive organs than understanding their culture.

I wish Mass Effect would get away from all the military crap. But hey, we're N7 again. So that's not happening this time around.

Are you from starship troopers?

Also why does it matter if you were in the millitary? Why does being a soldier equate to making a Good Game, No disrespect

You realise this is a Space Opera game?  Talking tactics is something that should be done in green kit, not in your own time.  Outside the ulu, a briefing or a classroom, the only time we talked tactics was during a post-exercise ****** up when we talked about funny incidents that happened, whether it was to off-handedly praise the idea or slag off the person who thought it was a good idea.

Frothing yourself into a lather over serious tactics is not the sort of thing that Bioware do.  It's all about the emotional reactions and building personal relationships.  If it was taken as seriously as you seem to be taking it, then I think the majority would chin off the game.

Because all of the Romeos, fobbits get women pregnant on deployments all the time. In a perfect world where everyone was professional and kept it in their pants, women are just raised different than men by not being held to a higher standard and physically have less stamina and strength.

If there's no women in the military, does it mean all the romance options are guys? It's raining men, hallelujah.

No romance options, romance is luxury military personnel shouldn't have. Just take care of it yourself.

The OP is trying REALLY hard to convince us that he's a really macho badass and not an overcompensating wannabe. You can tell by the bars on his avatar and the "Oorah" in his signature.

The OP is a troll account and this entire thread is bait.

That said whoever has Sgt Badass as their alt probably did serve in the US military at some point. Chair Force is probably not well known outside of it. That kind of narrows down the list jokers who could be responsible for this sock puppet account.

Oh, and I prefer Air Farce, myself.  :P

The OP is hilarious.  Not sure if he's serious or not.  Personally if I'd met anyone entirely like him during my time I'd have found somewhere else to be.  Most of the army barmy folk I knew tended to relax after a while.

I think it's bunz, Or maybe it really is one of those overly patriotic zealots who believe they can design a game just because they have experienced and refuse to admit that war is an atrocity.
I respect your service OP, but don't come in here gloating about how you are in the marines and how we are inferior because of our career choices.
