Except that in that case, the kid would most likely have Morrigan's hair and eye color. As was previously mentioned, he doesn't. He seems to be modeled after a Cousland, which doesn't make much sense in the playthroughs where he's not half-Cousland.

Yep, they should have given him Morrigan's traits because that would have made sense.  :)

Maybe it's like TES where the child takes more after the mother? Wait no Alistair's mom was an elf...hmm, maybe Morrigan's blood/DNA is just stronger than the HOF/Loghain/Alistair's, which is why no matter the father the kid always resembles his mom.

I know, right?  More ugly dwarf stereotyping!  Handsome dwarves (like that dashing fellow in my avi) ftw.....!

i tried to create a decent looking dwarf but alas, it is hard

Or he could simply look more like his mother then he does his dad?

He doesn't look like Morrigan, maybe Oren that kid of DAO.

Oh, you care for the father's appearance? I was wondering why the hell his eyes are green rather than golden, which is a predominant feature on his mother family.

Which could be the sign of magic adopted by FLemeth an Mythal, those eyes are hardly a natural feature since Abelas and the sentinels have it as well

I think that DAO dwarves rendered with the eclipse engine were ugly and bushy as hell

If he has had plastic surgery then let's sue... not the most attractive child IMO. Clearly the same surgeon that worked on Alistair and Zevran in DA2.

Yes i remember poor Zevran, maybe he became so ugly because of his stressed life for the crows,he can't sleep peacefully at night.

I... do not see it.

Well he clearly does NOT resemble any of his potential fathers so whatever.

Are you sure you're even his father?

Maybe it's Riordan. Brown hair, square jaw, floppy ears...they do have a lot of traits in common, and Morrigan just BS you.

Even as OGB he doesn't have them, and what about the hair? His mother and his aunt have it black, while his is dark brown.

You lost me at "floppy ears".

I can see some resemblance to the potential father to the left of this post. Though yet more resemblance to his late nephew, which makes sense given their different ages. (How does that work? Does Cousland DnA work like Baratheon DnA? And how does he keep sneak-fathering children who are supposed to be his alternate universe counterparts' children?)

More people than you'd think, to judge by the length of this thread.

Its odd to me, I mean its about a child that doesn't exist in DA's natural plot progression and their half baked appearance probably stems from that, they likely didn't spend a lot of money on this just because its a minor plot thing from DAO, that isn't reflected in the natural game state.

I would imagine most people who are big enough fans to be on this forum probably don't use the "natural game state" (by which I assume you mean default.) So while that is a good reason not to spend money on it I'm not sure how many people here that'll matter to.

This is a good point.

Kieran was a big deal wayyy back in 2010 when he still known as "OGB", so understandably he matters to those people whom have done the Dark Ritual in their world states.

o.o Well I mean if it was important it would be default no?

So you'd think, but while Kieran has probably lost a great deal of potential importance Urthemiel might have gained some. The soul of Urthemiel would logically be in Solas's hands now. Pulling a copout now would be lamer than never touching the subject again after Origins. Though whether that's relevant to Kieran's hair color is an interesting question.

Ah no i don't think so i have my own theory about where the archdemon soul is if it was not destroyed in Origins and it is not with Solas

Let me guess, Flemeth used it to survive having Mythal removed? That's my second guess if Solas doesn't have it.

Green? His eyes are dark brown.

I've tried asking Gaider about the strangd hair color but alas, he ignored me.

My bad, he does indeed have dark brown eyes.

Still makes no sense why his hair and eye colour are so vastly different from his mother's side though?
