How in depth would you guys want the customization to be and would you want the mass effect equivalent of the black emporium which gives you the option to change how you look whenever?

I mainly want better eye, hair and body options for an example when it comes to body I want to be able to change my weight, height, muscle mass and to apply tattoos or bodily scars. If I want to make my pc with man boobs then I want to be able to do that, if I want a 7foot tall muscle monstrosity then I want that. I want to have a great variety of hair or crazy hair styles akin to punk rock and visual kei or anime inspired hair. I want my eyes to be customizable to the point where if I wanted I could be an uchiha or down syndromed eyes.

Imagine running around andromea looking like ryuk or uncle grandpa or toxy the toxic avenger. Wouldn't that be great?

I would love for the CC to be as indepth as CCs from games like Black Desert, EVE Online, etc.

Failing that, having one as good as DAI's would be fine, as long as they have a lot more options and hopefully body customization.

And yeah, having the equivalent of the Mirror of Transformation available would be nice.

EAware should take their notes from fallout 4 defiantly. I haven't seen a good cc since saint's row; fallout 4 nailed it.

I've watched the video and this is absolutely amazing ! :o

One thing for sure, I want more hairstyles and to be able to modify them !

Currently playing DA2, I will see what they did for DAI soon, I'm curious now ...

Never understood the fascination with the black emporium, i don't change my character's appearance after they have been created.

I'm not keen on divergent body shapes/sizes because that seems the sort of thing that would cause all sorts of problems in terms of interaction.

Hope there are decent hairs, tattoos, scars.

I tend to use it quite a lot for roleplaying purposes such as to convey a passage of time, a change brought on by charater development or adjusting appearance to fit a situation. An example of the latter would be the "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts" quest where I'd change my character's hair and perhaps add a bit of make-up to give them a more formal appearance.

S'why I'd like to see something like it implemented in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Often I just can't tell if a face is 'right' until I've seen it moving in some cutscenes and in different lighting conditions, if the eyes are a little off or the hair isn't moving as I'd want I'm very grateful to be able to tweak them.

Tattoos, scars and better hair - yes please.

During my first round of Dragon Age: Inquisition and before the Black Emporium came out, I once wound up with a character that looked exactly like she was supposed to based on my pre-design ideas except for the small detail but very noticeable detail of having blue eyelashes. Since there were no way that I knew of to change the detail at the time, I had to try to recreate her in the character creator. Thankfully, I took screenshots since I expected something like this might occur.

Basically, the mirror from the Black Emporium do much good.

Luckily my first run was a few months ago, with the Black Emporium.

You were lucky to get it right, I doubt I would have.

For ME, I've gone through the intro of ME3 more times than I want to admit, I can almost recite the entire thing.  Making sure Shep's face is good from the get go with no chance to change it is so much pressure!

I wish I was one of those people who really wasn't bothered, but sadly I'm a 'spends 3 hours in the CC' kind of a gal.

I didn't use it myself - but as mentioned it could be a tool to convey the passage of time. Of course changing the appearance of your character radically would break immersion, so maybe they can limit the sections in a way that serves a specific purpose.

Tbh it always would be best if the changes will be attained immediately - PC got injured, PC got a scar! And same goes for aging. They could display these set of changes only for preset protagonist. I usually go with preset.

I've lost track of the times I had to redo a character design in Dragon Age: Origins especially when i was trying to make a dark-skinned character and ohhh, Mass Effect 2 was the worst in this regard because of the prologue. I honestly think I could have played the opening prologue blindfolded with all the times I had to replay it to redo a character's design.

S'why I'm hoping for no prologue before character creator because without an alternative like the mirror, it can be so frustrating.

I was very impressed, however, that I managed to recreate my second Hawke from the demo very accurately considering I was doing so based on a screenshot of his face rather than any sliders. The only thing I remember getting wrong was his nose because it wound up looking odd from a certain angle but that easily correctable in the Black Emporium.

Are you on PC with DA:O?  There's a mod that lets you swap heads, super handy.

The ME2 prologue.....urgh don't remind me.  Pain in the butt.  Shep's death is horrible but there you are reliving it over and over just cause you gave your character derpy eyes that didn't quite work out.

It's worth it for me in the long run though, restarting and trying again, because the look of my characters means a lot to me.  Once they're 'right' to my eye I can look at them in cutscenes and be really happy with the results.  If they're wrong it just bugs me all the damn time.

Then there's the delightful problem of all 3 games have really quite different facial aesthetics.  Trying to make a cohesive Shep is a nightmare.

I love DAI's CC. it need improvemants, expecially in the hair/eyebrows/beards section, but is on the right way. I love having the chance to choose intern and external iris colour, and I love the frecles and the scars.

Having the chance to customize the body would be great, even if I can see it a problem for animations. But I'd really, really love to have the chance to make a more muscular female character and a slim male one. Even having the chance to choose between some bocy type like in SWTOR would already be interesting.

Have you played Fallout 4? It's essentially that, just bad hair(and facial hair) choices. Rest of CC is great.

I don't tend to use it when playing a male character. I do use it from time to time when playing a female character though. Mostly because girls tend to like changing their look from time to time so I tend to roleplay that in the game.

I am hoping for a really handsome African-American preset male and an equally beautiful female. If not, then when I customize my PC, I hope it is so deep, I can create myself as best as I can.  Dreadlocks with tied tips, scars, tattoos, and all.

I'm doubting we'll get body sliders, as BW has been against them in the past.  However, especially since if we are locked into human, I would think they could at least have a few body presets per gender, much like TOR.

I just want decent East/Southeast Asian presets that I can customize. I don't know why, maybe it was the game but I had trouble making decent looking Asian characters with the past games.
