Drell is more powerful, but Asari is easier and safer to play.

Well can't decide. I'm not that sure that the drell is more powerfull : he kills bosses faster, but nothing wipes mooks like lift grenades

1. Cluster grenades.
2. Drell passives.
3. For Thane, or something, IDK.

Drellguard:
Cons:
- lower health and barriers
Prons:
- stronger grenades that can do ammo combos
- better passives
- higher speed(that's a big one, sonny)
- Pull is a pretty much useless power on Gold and above and can easily be skipped
Asariguard:
Cons:
- Lift Grenades, while fun and great mook killers are objectively weaker
- Stasis is a great power, pretty much her signature one and despite that, you're best dumping it, which actually hurts her quite a lot
- All in all, she is generally weaker than drellguard
Pros:
I think the winner is clear ![]()

Don't play either of them much, agree with some that the Asari has a lower learning curve, but the Drell is overall more powerful
That said even in unknown lobbies my prefered Vanguard is the Krogan

Drell guard yells "I'm injured" every 5 seconds.
no, he complains about his aim been wounded. Not sure how you wound your aim tho...
Edit: ot, I prefer the drellgod over the assgoddess

Drell, for a multitude of reasons.
- Higher speed
- Quicker melee
- Pull > stasis for me
- Clusters > lift 'nades because it can detonate more combos
- Better passives
I don't like asari vanguard all that much. No matter how I build the character, I feel I can enjoy that more with other characters.

I'll take a guess at what Slasher means. The incredibly fast recharge allows you to Pull an unshielded mook in a group, and Charge almost instantly -> multiple dead mooks.

Same applies for bubble evolved stasis and lift nades. (mook doesn't even need to be unshielded and stasis is hitscan instead projectile)
There has to be more about it...

fun might be a good part of it., and maybe 1.75 BE,
but in the big picture, pull is very/too much situational on most builds imo, even with acolyte

It's mostly the recharge speed. Stasis competes with biotic charge for cooldown, which is a giant killer for me. Pull, on the other hand can fit seamlessly in your usual shoot/charge/grenade sequence because by the time the pull reaches the enemy and staggers/pulls it, your cooldowns are reset (atleast with my build, it usually is).
This one is personal preference but pull > heavy melee sequence launches unprotected enemies off the map, which is hilarious.
The only way to somewhat make stasis do the same is to pick the bonus power evo. But that's not a guarantee. (In fact, that is how I spec my AV)
An argument can definitely be made to skip stasis all together. But if I do so, there is absolutely no reason for me to even pick the asari because there is nothing really unique about the character, and gives the drell another point in his favor.

Especially with the acolyte : acolyte shot + charge = any mook dead (especially with incendiary rounds)
