So, I've never actually played any of the Mass Effect games (yeah, I'm late) but I'm planning on getting the trilogy box set from Amazon. I can't post links but it's the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3. The only question I have is about the ending for Mass Effect 3. I don't know how it plays out but I heard it made a lot of people mad when it was released and Bioware made a new/extended ending. Is the extended ending already on the MET box set I'm planning on getting or will I need to download it? Not a huge issue either way unless the download is no longer available or something but I just wanted to make sure.

The download is still available, but I don't know if they burned the disks with the extended cut. I'm guessing they didn't.

I don't believe it will be on the disk. You will have to go on psn to download the extended cut.
If you like, play the game without the extended cut, and then download the extended cut to see for yourself what caused people to be upset.
