If you say American, I will not be surprised. But I would also like to hear a lot of different accents.

If you have already chosen the voice actors, then at least tell me there is more than American. American is okay, but I also like diversity.

I doubt they will announce the voice actors any time before late summer. I do think they will mostly be American/Canadian accents, like the trilogy.

American is cool.  Some really good slang to use.  Unless its a Boston accent.  Although a party member with that accent we can shoot right after they talk would be a good addition.

 

 

I hope for a hot Brit though.  I'm going to marry a Brit girl.  They spell like crap with all those U's, but sound sooooooo good.

They like Australia. Or killing Australians, I wouldn't mind seeing an Aussie accent on another race though. Just to see what it would look like.

It's more about marketing, the game sells to the U.S. market, so an American accent would be what people used to and the American accent is what people are used to the most outside the U.S. with Hollywood movies and TV shows and things like that.

About exosuits. ME:A armor could work like them, right? I mean, it's the future we're talking about, enhancing the soldiers capabilities should be a must in any armor system. And from a gameplay perspective, it makes a lot of sense. It gives more mobility to the player, allowing for more posibilities in comabt and exploration.

Also, sharpened helicopter blades. They would be welcome too.

Not really a huge issue for me though and my guess is it will be mostly American with a sprinkling of British and a few token others

When games like DA and ME imported to other regions, the characters speak other languages, it's just based on the market they're trying to appeal to. Are we to assume that the characters all speak Russian in a Mass Effect game that the Russian dominating the world? Plus, what about Texas and Southern accent or New Yorkers? Even "American" accent can be different between regions.

An interesting question OP.

 

I'd prefer that our female LI has an accent that suits her alieness. After all, her culture is different from ours. Something similar to Yoda's phrasing as well as a non American accent?

I'm hoping non-English one, had lot of fun in Saint Row with Russian and French accents. What about Asian accent for change, like Indian?
