I'm currently on the quest (or as soon as I activate it on the war table that is) Doom Upon all the world. What are some key things I should know without spoiling any story elements. I have yet to complete any of the DLC because I saw plenty of people who have completed everything advise that they should be done after the main story plot. So what should I know going into this? What are some key changes after I finish this quest that are different than before completing it?

All companion quests and conversations are unavailable after the final mission. Likewise the "Sutherland and his crew" war table missions.

DLC can be done whenever you want. Only thing that changes if you do it after the main story is that the Inquisitor will at one point say something like "I saved the world, I won't let this stop me!" instead of "I can't let this stop me, I still have to save the world!".

Trespasser is only available after the main story. Starting Trespasser means you can't do any more main game content (killing Dragons, claiming Keeps, etc).

After this is done, companions will only give you brief responses when you click on them. Get any conversations you wanted to have out of the way. If you like smooching your LI, get some smooching in now.

Actually, all the mission parts concerning Sutherland and his crew should be completed before the 'What Pride had Wrought'. Otherwise the last part will disappear from the war table and cannot be done anymore.

Certain squadmates might have other personal matters to attend to after you save the world and won't always be available. (They'll tell you they're thinking of leaving....) So if you have other stuff you want to do after the final mission, go do quests with these people ASAP if you need them, they might wander away from Skyhold at a random time.

Hope that wasn't too spoiler-y.
