I'm not sure whether this link has been posted on the forums already, but for those who haven't heard them yet, these might be songs in Mass Effect Andromeda. Created by Sam Hulick, the guy who created An End Once And For All. Take note of the description of the album which reads:

"Otherworldly is a sci-fi flavored production, created in the spirit of planetary exploration and discovering new, wondrous worlds."

The Colossus sounds very Mass Effect 1-ish.

What are your thoughts on them?

Ancient Sands = instant jeebies. Literally gave me shivers down my spine within 10 seconds. It would suit that desert planet in the trailer perfectly.

Colossus would be best suited in the prologue or first hour of gameplay.

The verdict:

These songs would definitely be a highlight of Andromeda OST.

The way these songs lead the listener is welcoming.  The final production could be a real treat.

I like how it turns from optimistic to tense, and then to dark.

Created by Sam Hulick, the guy who created An End Once And For All.

Sam Hulick is much more than that :P along with Jack Wall, he composed most of ME1's soundtrack and much of ME3's on his own.

That being said, I'm not sure this is for ME:A. Had he been asked to compose for the next game, would he be allowed to sell the music on his own and almost a year before release? I find it more likely it's merely his own work that sounds like Mass Effect because he's already been shaping a large part of our beloved franchise's soundscape.

I definitely won't mind if they hire him to write (part of?) Andromeda's OST :)

That's exactly why it's perfect for the prologue. It's like the ME1 Wards theme (C-Sec). Initially it creates a sense of wonder, but it has malevolent undertones.

In Andromeda that would be: WOW-------------> HMMM-------------> UH OH WE'RE IN DEEP SHEET.

I know. It is the song he is most known for in the Mass Effect community, that is why I used that example.

Ancient Sands would be a great ambient track for exploration in the Mako on one of the Uncharted Worlds.

I see. I don't personally agree (I'd say that Uncharted Worlds, for instance, is more iconic), but that's a matter of debate, of course :)
