[Geth Supremacy]

First off I have to say how much I love Amazon.  I have tried many headsets and all of them were plastic.  Despite trying to be gentle its only a matter of time before they start to crack and its over for them (at least in my experience).  A few days ago I found the Hyper X Cloud IIs.  7.1 Digital surround sound and they have METAL where my other headsets always break.

 

Today Amazon is having a sale on them for $69.99.  A lot less than I paid for mine.  They credited me the difference.  Good company.  Check them out if you are interested.  There are tons of reviews for them on Youtube. http://allforgamenew...mes-controllers

Admittedly I don't have mine yet and haven't tried them out, but I bought them based on reviews people have and talking about build quality.  I watched a lot of stuff on youtube as well.  According to the people on youtube you can get 7.1 on PS4 you just have to hit the button as soon as you turn the system on.

I don't know. Whenever I buy an expensive headset for my Xbox One I always hear this annoying "hsssshhhhshshshsh" sound. It's happened with Astro A50s and TBs. Drives me nuts!

I really don't use headsets all that much, I can see myself using it for MP but probably not SP.

I have the PX4s right now and they have that.  It's a lot worse on PS3 than PS4 though.  I don't know if its blue tooth or what.  Decent headset, but plastic and the side is cracking so now I got the metal.  No more TB for me.

I have surround sound....but I also have kids. 

 

 

 

Mine is an Earforce Playstation 4 PS4 wired headset. I play on a Vizio 48" LED that we won in a local contest. 

 

My husband's is a Turtle Beach Star Wars X-Wing Pilot headset. He plays on a 55" Sony Bravia 4K because he is a spoiled brat.   Our Xbox one is hooked up to the Bravia so I get to play on the pretty tv sometimes. 

 

Neither headsets are really great....I miss my Turtle Beach X5's that costed a pretty penny for the PS3. My husband let my daughter play with them and that was the end of that.

You get a much better experience by playing with a headset. That's my recommendation

You'll never be able to ignore children that way.

Or sit up all night playing video games after you told them how unhealthy it is for them.

It's a good thing that i don't have them! I can still freely enjoy the chaos

Thanks for the advice but not only do i enjoy walking around doing things while i have the game and it's music and all the sounds in the background, but i also live alone..and someone needs to hear the doorbell or the phone xD

I recommend getting used to a headset now because begging wont save you!

Now, seriously! Even now i babysit childs now and then because the parents are friends of mine and they are..busy xD it's not normal but it happens and i think i have it in me    i found out that what the kid wants is to tell you stuff and show you stuff that he/she considers very important and almost a discovery. After you assist to the congress and see the sights, they usually sit by your side in silence or repay your interest in their things with an interest of their own in what you are doing or thinking. The main thing is: don't treat them like they are stupid. So the headsets remain unnecessary! jajajaja I'll die free!!!

Seriously? Two tiny speakers are better than a proper 7.1 system with subwoofer? I don't see how the experience could be any better with a headset unless you need it to cancel noises from the environment.

I don't like the outside sound mixing with the game sounds and i think it's better to have the two tiny speakers on my ear.

I don't use headsets really, though I have been interested in a few but will most likely stick to surround sound. I have a 50" 4k tv that will be equipped with an upgraded surround sound system to simulate being in an imax theatre.

None, since I don't do multiplayer. The only thing interesting me about this game is if it has enough single player content.
