XB1 controller with a pair of earpods...

I only use headsets to yell at kids who can't play WoW. My computer comes with speakers. Plus wearing a headset for my 37.5 hour marathon gaming session when Andromeda comes out will probably leave my ears on the floor.
My PC is in the same room a the TV, to which the various other game systems are attached. When I'm playing, a headset is essential equipment! I've discovered that the surround sound literally being right on my head is way more immersive, even with speakers and a sub attached to the computer. There's more immediacy and less background noise (kids, dogs, hubby, random cars with loud radios, the usual). I've had a Plantronics GameCom set for a couple of years now and they've been great--solid but not too heavy for extended wear.
Assumng it doesn't give out before the release of Andromeda (and I doubt it will), I'll still be using my XO Seven.
Now I want to get some super expensive headphones for MEA so I can be part of the cool kids club.
I'll be using my 'SteelSeries 7H Fnatic Limited Edition' -headphones. I simply love them to bits. Would like to test the 9H someday but for now I'm very happy with my 7H.
Astro A50s
Rather use my 5.1 + woofer but my neighbors go bonckers esprecially with ME3, so often I'm stuck with headset. I also tend to play in the wee hours when sane people sleep.
My trusty Beyerdynamics DT990Pro + Asus Essence One
probably Earforce P12s modest price comfy and decent sound nuff sed

Corsair Vengeance 1500 that I've had for a couple years now.
However I don't recommend them.
