I only use headsets to yell at kids who can't play WoW.  My computer comes with speakers.  Plus wearing a headset for my 37.5 hour marathon gaming session when Andromeda comes out will probably leave my ears on the floor.

Astro A40 TRs. Got them on a sale about four months ago and haven't looked back. Plus if the game starts boring me with menial sidequests, I can listen to a podcast or something without sacrificing game sound since I'll be playing it on PS4.

My PC is in the same room a the TV, to which the various other game systems are attached.  When I'm playing, a headset is essential equipment!  I've discovered that the surround sound literally being right on my head is way more immersive, even with speakers and a sub attached to the computer.  There's more immediacy and less background noise (kids, dogs, hubby, random cars with loud radios, the usual).  I've had a Plantronics GameCom set for a couple of years now and they've been great--solid but not too heavy for extended wear.

Assumng it doesn't give out before the release of Andromeda (and I doubt it will), I'll still be using my XO Seven.

Now I want to get some super expensive headphones for MEA so I can be part of the cool kids club.

No headset. Just good old school stereo speaker with some woofers.

I'll be using my 'SteelSeries 7H Fnatic Limited Edition' -headphones. I simply love them to bits. Would like to test the 9H someday but for now I'm very happy with my 7H.

Rather use my 5.1 + woofer but my neighbors go bonckers esprecially with ME3, so often I'm stuck with headset.  I also tend to play in the wee hours when sane people sleep.

I'll be using my old Technics headphones. Dirt cheap, about 20 years old and they still sound better that those new expensive ones. Most importantly they're extremely comfortable.

Corsair Vengeance 1500 that I've had for a couple years now.

However I don't recommend them.
