Well, what can i say... indoctrination and stuff.

My poor Shepard is still in London, severly hurt. Could someone please pick him up and finish the reaper?

Any news for closure on that one, meanwhile?

I still don't get that. It looks waaay more like London. It's as if pieces of the Citadel and Shepard fell back to London, but how Shepard survived that reentry would make no sense.

Thx for the post.

As the one in twitter mentioned: yeah they sayed it was rubber earlier on (heared that in a video about a indoctrination documentary). Also surving that explostion just because you have high EMS doesn´t make sense either and i agree with Kathryn here too.

To me it looks like:

- They do all the indoctrination sighns in there (oily shadows, more bushes after shepard woke up, starchild with shepards voice attached, shepards wound where andersons is, the relay exploded not from earth but from the place of to the ashes dlc etc. etc.)

- And now after we regocrinze this, And I say: "Wait a secound, then there is no non-indoctrination ending there..., what happend after shepard experienced this all in his mind"

I was hoping that they might continue on that point, e.g. mention in ME4 (or other) that shepard withstood the indoctrination and destroyed them afterwarts. That would be emotional more satisfactory.

Well to me its obiously indoctrination without a real ending, then.

I do not blame Bioware, since i am sure they tried their best and where surly sad, :( because they sincerly wanted contribute to making us happy with their game.   :)

I on the other hand i am and will remain dispointed because i wanted closure and at least one heartwarming ending. I definatly will not forget this.

I hope they learned the right thing from it, to me it would be that they provide clearity, differnet endings so that choices matter and one that is heartwarming.

Of course i still give them a chance with ME4, since i love interactive storys, that go to the heart. I just want them (or any other company to know) that they have a responsibility when fans are so passionate about their storys and connecting with their hearts. (money is not the real issue to me).

I am going to wait until someone experienced the ending of mass effect 4, telling me wheather its good or not, emotional satisfactory or not. because i am NOT going to invest emotionally again in bioware products; to protect me from that emotional apathy, uncertenty and confusion, after ME3.   ;)

I assumed he was on the Citadel if he still had a body.  Synthesis would leave no body, Control kills his body and transfers his mind to a Reaper.  Why does EMS impact Shepard's survival?  Well, if EMS is too low, his crew doesn't even make it.  Without lots of other ships around, the Normandy suffers.  Without beefing up Citadel defenses (part of EMS), the Citadel might be in worse shape following Shep's decision.  If it's weaker, maybe there's no air and s/he dies.  Similarly, if the crew doesn't all survive, Joker might not be able to return to the Citadel in time to look for Shepard; hence, s/he dies.

As for indoctrination of Shepard, I'm not sold on the idea.  Well, except if he chooses Control.  That's clearly what someone indoctrinated would choose.  Just ask the Illusive Man.  Synthesis I don't like because I feel like the Reapers are able to get away with being the greatest instigators of genocide that the universe has ever seen and that's just not right.  Hard to say if indoctrination is present.  However, a living Reaper still means it's possible and they survive with Synthesis.  The Destroy ending outright kills Shepard.  It's the choice Hackett and Anderson would make, which means it's the decision of someone not indoctrinated.

Whether or not there was an actual child on Earth that Shepard viewed (I lean toward 'yes' and that Shep thereafter dreamed of his death) is irrelevant.  Maybe it was a Reaper trying to indoctrinate Shepard but it's just as likely that the Catalyst drew from something that was haunting Shepard in an attempt to influence a particular outcome.

A really high EMS means that the crucible was made really well and with all the top features. Including air bags. Hence Shepard lives.

Remember to buckle those seatbelts kids.

I think Mike Gamble is pulling your leg.

Since a beam transported Shepard and Anderson to the Citadel, conceivably the reverse could happen.  Given that the two arrived at different location, it suggests that it could possibly teleport from any spot on the Citadel down through the beam.  However, Shepard is probably on the Citadel unless the Catalyst somehow wanted Shep back on Earth.
