I prefer headshots in ME2 because literally popping off heads that explode with blood in ME3 is ****** ridiculous, and is it just me or am I more repulsed when violence is understated than when it's right in your face? When you shoot someone in the head in ME2 and they die, splattering some blood and doing that cripple-like movement it makes me think "yuck!" in a good way. In ME3 it's so ridiculous that it makes me feel detached from it.
And for the sake of being preemptive, I hope ME:A does not have disintegrating enemies and so many flashy effects (cuz frostbite) that it becomes numbing to look at like DA:I.
I hope shooting people feels as simple as it's supposed to be.
Yet, since we are probably using heat-based weapons I'd love to see enemies getting burn marks instead of gunshot wounds.
